So, how's Le Cellier?

A lot of people love it and a lot of people wonder what all the hype is about. It has been a must-do for us since we first ate there and we have continually had great food and great service. It's been our best meal of our last three trips.

I have to admit I got sucked into the LeCellier hype. We have never been there to eat, but it was a must for us when making our ADR's, and we will be having lunch there next Tuesday!

Our dinner there last month was the best we had in WDW the whole vacation. However, since I tend to find WDW food to be very ordinary (like the chain places at home, more or less) and I have not done any "2 credit" restaurants, it is probably not the most delicious meal ever, just very good in comparison.

I have been to very good steakhouses at home which are comperable both in price and quality of food. The service we had at Le Cellier was outstanding, though.

We all enjoyed it in Sept. 08 - even the kids. The food was good, we had a great server.

DH said he'd go back if we get the chance.

We just ate at Le Cellier on 2/6/09, and it was very good. My daughter, 10 and I both had the Filet Mignon, and it was outstanding. My husband had the scallops and they were also very good. The service was terrific, and yes, the bread was great! We would book there again in a heartbeat!

Keep calling. As PP mentioned, they supposedly hold some tables back for the exactly 90 days window.

We made ADRs last Friday morning at 7am. The first thing we tried for was Le Cellier. At that time, she told us the only thing available was May 12th and 13th. We were shocked that it was that booked. We shuffled all our reservations to fit it in.

A couple hours later, someone posted that they made ADRs Friday morning as well. They were able to get Le Cellier and the reservation person said it was booking extremely fast that day.

We ate there last Monday- 2/2. I called about a month in advance and got a noon lunch ressie, so keep trying. However, it was good, but I don't think it lives up to the hype...

The first time we ate there it was fantastic!!!! Even my father who hates and I mean really hates eating out (strange I know) He loved and said he would go there again. He is still talking about it and it has been over a year, Now that being said I went back to WDW this past May and the first ressie I had was Le Cellier. It was awful. It was really bad. Not slightly off, flat out horrible. The people at the table next to us were even complaining about how bad it was and asking "what the heck happend to this place". I was very dissapointed and I have not been back on my last 2 trips. Not saying I would never go back I may try it on our Dec. trip to give it another chance but I am still up in the about it.

I think in the past four years or so - definitely the past six, Disney Dining has really gone downhill. Le Cellier is still one of the best one credit restaurants in Epcot, but its half as good as it was six years ago and each trip has been steadily worse.

So, yes, its still one of the best restaurants in Epcot. But that doesn't mean its the same restaurant it was two years ago.

We ate there in December and overall I would say it was very good. The Fillet on Mushroom Risotto was heavenly, but my strip was tough -- tasty, but tough. For the same money I would choose Chef de France, Artist's Pointe or Citricos in the future... all are exceptional, IMO, and much easier to get an ADR for due to larger capacity.

We always have to eat at the Le Cellier DD12 favorite, she loves the soup. She was hooked after the 1st food and wine festival we attended. We always have problems get ressies, but we just walk up and end up getting a table. Although our next trip, we got a ressie!!!!!

We had dinner there in 06 and lunch in early 07 and it was very good...we are going back next month and I hope it is still good!

We ate lunch there on 02/07 and it was really good. We loved the maple creme brule! I called 01/30 and got a 11:50 ressie.

We ate lunch there in March of 2007 and I thought it was very mediocre.

We had a late lunch there on Jan. 31, 09 and LOVED it! We had excellent service and all our food was very good! Decent sized portions (I had heard they'd been getting smaller everywhere) and I ate my whole Filet and mashed potatoes. We'd never been before, so I can't say if it is worse than it used to be, but the only "complaint" is that we had a rather long wait - but we were a party of 6. I'd definitely go back.

We ate there Dec 2007. It was ok. I did like the soup but I have learned to make it at home and it tastes the same...exactly. The sour dough bread sticks were good and the kids loved the pretzel bread. I am glad that we did it so now we won't wonder if we missed something but we are not planning on doing it again. There is just so many places to try.
