So how many pies did you have on Thanksgiving?
Also how people ate those pies?

We had 3 pies and a lot of other goodies.
We also had a small group this year of 20.

My SIL had 8 adults and had 4 pies, cookies, ice cream, cream puffs, and eclairs. They were all store bought, and tasted that way! YUCK!

Well only a few people in my family like pie (crazy I know). So we just had pumpkin pie for those of us who enjoy it, and trust me, it was gone the next morning! The others had fruit, ice cream, cookies and brownies.

My husband was in charge of the pies. We had two pumpkin pies and an apple pie. I also made bread pudding. It was overkill, there was only six of us.

Anyone want some pie?

12 people:
1 pumpkin cheesecake, 3 pumpkin pies, 1 chess pie, 1 pecan pie, 1 chocolate pie, and 1 coconut cream pie. My DH thinks that there should be one dessert per person. He's a dork & now we have TONS of leftover pie.

ETA: I knew we had some leftover pie...I just looked in the fridge & found an entire pumpkin pie that hadn't even been cut into yet! I told DH that we will NOT be doing that many desserts next year.

DH and I polished off an apple pie. Well, I guess I should say that DH ate all of the apples and I had half of the crust and goo.

8 homemade pies. 2 cherry, 2 pumpkin, 2 dutch apple, 2 peach. Around 20 people, half on diets.:rolleyes1

We had a lot left over, but we will eat on it for days and the person who made them took some into work.

The problem with homemade is when making batches of dough to get the flavors we have to have our baker has to make multiple batches of dough and just ends up making a lot.

We planned to donate a few to the firehouse up the road, but they never made it up there after the turkey kicked in. Maybe at Christmas.

Yeah my DH would love it if I gave him a pie all to himself.
I know my sister in law makes a decoy pie for my brother.:rotfl2:
She makes it about a week ahead so he will share on Thanksgiving

We had one pie for the two of us. It was a frozen Mrs. Smith apple pie, but it had been in the freezer too long and was freezerburnt, so we each ate a piece and threw the rest away.

We had Chocolate, banana, apple, berry, cherry, pumpkin, coconut, coconut custard, and a trifle type pudding dessert. We had about 10 for dinner then more for dessert. We still have a lot left.

7 pies 39 people. 2 Pumpkin, 1 pumpkin cheesecake pie, 1 chocolate, 1 pecan, 1 apple and 1 cherry.

We had 3 pies, 1 cake, and 4 what-used-to-be 1/2 gallon containers of ice cream for 17 people. We only ate 1 of the ice cream containers and the equivalent of 1 pie. Guess everyone filled up on the main course.

Pumpkin (Whole Foods-really good), pecan (home made-awesome), chocolate cheesecake (homemade-turned out yucky), and apple cheesecake crumble (home made and very good.) 4 people! Lots of leftovers.

I made two banana cream pies, but we took one to the local fire department. My mom (my parents came to our house for Thanksgiving) made two pumpkin pies.

There were six of us.
