I was sitting at my desk and felt the floor vibrating. Thought someone was moving something heavy down the hall. But it kept going, so I got up to see what was going on. Then the whole building started shaking. That was pretty wild.
Felt it here in Maryland. I grow up in California and knew what is. It was a big one, it lasted a long time. They cleared the building, so I got to stand outside for awhile, nice day for it.
In Buffalo my wife felt it but I didn't. We work two blocks away from each other. I work on the 26th floo of Buffalo's tallest building and she works on the 8th floor of her pretty tall building. Weird that she felt it but I didn't.
It made its presence known down this way. Im on the third floor and the structure was wigglin' like nervous pudding. Very weird and a new experience for me to be sure.
They are replacing some cubes on my floor. I thought for a moment that something heavy had dropped and stood up to see if they were working. About that time I realized that it was a quake.
It was funny to watch everyone else in the area pop up like Prairie dogs.
A little excitement to break up an otherwise boring afternoon.
Felt it here in Trenton. We briefly evacuated the office building I work in. I first thought there was some construction on the roof, but when I looked outside I could see the windows in the building opposite us vibrating.
It reminded me somewhat of the Disney Wonder in rolling seas...
