So how insanely busy will it be next weekend?

I know Captain EO is returning Tues, and had hoped to avoid the mayhem. However, it looks like next weekend or the first in March is the only time we can make it this spring. My girls are young(5 & 2), so we spend most our time in fantasyland and toontown. Is the park going to be chaos? If so, it may not be worth it.
Thanks,
Jodie

I too would like to know. DSr and I will be there from the 27th-3rd. I thought this would be a great time to go, crowd wise, didn't even think of EO!

We're also going at that time, 2/26-3/1. My thought/hope is that the really fanatical people will be out Tue, Wed, and Thu. There will no doubt be another wave for the weekend, but I don't think it will swell the overall attendance too much.

Anyone with more knowledge than me agree or disagree? Maybe I'm too optimistic?

Man I hope it is not going to adversly effect crowds! We will be there the 3rd-the 6th for our 10 yr anniversary/ 1st real honeymoon, without our kids, I really want it to be a nice easy going day in the parks!!

There is also a couple cheer competitions going on next weekend too. One of them is in DCA so expect lots of cheerleaders.

That's fine we are leaving on saturday! So hopefully they wont be much of a problem!

We are heading in Thursday, leaving Monday so I hope it's no more than normal crazy. I believe Saturday is a blackout for AP holders so that may be a better day :rolleyes1

We are going the 3, 4, & 5th of March. I have 11 relatives coming from Canada for their "trip of a lifetime" It's bad enough I have to worry about weather now I have to worry about EO.

I would expect fairy decent crowds. Looks like park hours are extended even during the week and if they blocked out a weekend for APs that means big crowds are expected even without all the APers coming. Just have a plan and enjoy! We're heading to the park for a few hours today to try to avoid the EO crowds this week.

While I can't comment on the EO opening (I am keeping my fingers crossed that it isn't horrible), I've been during cheer competitions before and haven't noticed anything horrible about the crowds. Right now the weather isn't looking good for Saturday either, so I'm sure that will help the crowds!

Well... based on:
DSr and I will be there from the 27th-3rd....

We're also going at that time, 2/26-3/1....

... We will be there the 3rd-the 6th...

We are heading in Thursday, leaving Monday ...

We are going the 3, 4, & 5th of March....

Plus EO, plus cheer competitions, plus general DL goers. And then mix in the locals that pop by. I would say, yeah, busy.

But who cares? Plan accordingly. Enjoy yourselves. It's Disneyland!

only southern cal APs are blocked. Delux AP have this weekend not blocked out.

I'm usually a "go for it" kind of person, when it comes to the crowds. However, last columbus day was chaos. It was so packed! People were waiting for 4hrs for a spot for fantasmic! In fact, we had a make up trip later in the year, because we missed so much in Oct. I guess I'll wait and see how tomorrow is and judge from there.
Thanks,
Jodie
