...spooky (yesterday's news) bouncing Mickey, with a cool strolling turkey??

I'm always late in getting the neat stuff.

hound <----still plays his 8 track player instead of an ipod.

I finally gave up on being gobbled, and gobbled myself! :rotfl:

The only problem with doing it that way is that you can't gobble others. :headache:

:teeth: I had to boo myself this year b/c no one else would. There isn't anything wrong with having to boo or gobble yourself. ;)

Well I got boo'd but not gobbled...those are too cute....can't wait to see the Santa's for Christmas!

Gobble,Gobble,Gobble...

Might as well post this, in case it helps those of you who want to add someone else's image (like the animated Boo'd or Gobble'd animated .gifs) to your own signature. No need to wait until someone else "gobbles" you.

1. Right-click on the image you want to copy (find it in someone else's signature, etc.), and select Properties.
2. In the Properties box, find the field labeled "Address:" and click and drag your mouse to highlight the entire URL (such as http colon slash slash i38.photobucket.com/albums/e132/rhonda420/8_5_131 dot gif) (note that I used words to replace some of the punctuation so this would show up without actually displaying the image) (thank-you to rhonda420 for making this image available)
3. When you have the entire URL highlighted, hit CTRL-C to copy this text to your clipboard.
4. Close the Properties dialog box.
5. In your browser, find the "User CP" (user control panel) link near the top of the DISboards page and click it.
6. Click the Edit Signature link to access your signature text.
7. Place your cursor in your signature text where you want the image to appear, and type
.
8. Place your cursor in-between the first ] and second [ (right in the middle of what you just typed) and hit CTRL-V to paste the URL in between the tags.
9. Click the Preview Signature button to see if you did it right.
10. If you see the animated turkey in the preview of your signature, you did it right! Click Save Signature to save it.
11. Pat yourself on the back. You too could be a web developer!:thumbsup2

Hey CardinalsFan,
Do you have step by step directions to adding a ticker???? I'm having a hard time adding one. Thanks

1. Go to http://www.tickerfactory.com/ezticker/ticker_designer.php.
2. Click on the Vacation & Travel link.
3. Find the design you like, and select the radio button (little circle with a dot in the middle of it when you click on it) for that design.
4. Click the Next button.
5. Find the design for the slider that you want by selecting the radio button beside that design.
6. Click the Next button.
7. Enter the date for the beginning of your trip.
8. Type a description for your trip (e.g., "Christmas Trip to DLR").
9. Set the correct time zone for you, by selecting the current time in your time zone. Click the next button, and you should see your ticker on the next page. If it says "Incorrect Ticker URL" in red, you did something wrong, like not entering a description for your trip. Go fix it!
10. Find the box labeled "bbcode" and highlight everything in that box (from the to the ).
11. Click CTRL-C to copy this text to your clipboard.
12. Come back to this forum, and find the "User CP" (user control panel) link near the top of the DISboards page and click it.
13. Click the Edit Signature link to access your signature text.
14. Place your cursor in your signature text where you want your ticker to appear, and hit CTRL-V to paste the copied in between the tags.
15. Click the Preview Signature button to see if you did it right.
16. If you see the ticker in the preview of your signature, you did it right! Click Save Signature to save it.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! I've been trying to figure out how to do this FOREVER!!! So again, thank you so much!!!

Is it wrong as an October baby, NBC lover and vegetarian to keep the boo a little longer and skip the turkey????

I like my little boo! But I might swap for the Christmas version, though I sort of want a bouncing Jack head with a santa hat :rotfl:
