Please vote, it would be interesting to see which is the most popular choice amongst Disboarders:

A) Car/ferry
B) Car Eurotunnel
C) Plane
D) Coach
E) Eurostar
F) Other

Other - RER and Bus or just RER would be the most frequent transport. The car is only if OH comes too ;)

Other - I travel with the Thalys from Cologne and its always a smooth and cheap way to travel to Gare du Nord and then...

Other - Using John from Ezyshuttle to get us to DLP

:cool1:

We've done flying, eurostar, coach trip and this time we're driving. So far my favourite has been the eurostar.

Sent from my DISBoards app

Done all modes of travel but prefer driving as its allows us to bring more stuff with us

C plane and then Ezyshuttle from CDG to DLP and we will be doing this in 12 days!!! Just a bit excited!

Direct Eurostar for us as it's the easiest way to the magic.

I've been by plane once, Eurostar once (soon to be twice!) and by car/ferry once. Eurostar is by far my favourite even though I have to travel to London because I find it is quick, easy, and stress free. Driving took too long (for me!) and whilst flying could be great if you can go from your home town, we had to travel to Luton anyway and then of course you have the shuttle to DLP itself. So my vote is for Eurostar!

Traveled all ways since park opening but mainly car/euro tunnel It's by far the easiest and cheapest way for us :)

Have done Eurostar twice, coach twice and flown for the rest of the trips, from either Bristol or Cardiff, both airports are about an hours drive from us and return flights with Easyjet are usually around £50, so even taking into account car parking and shuttle transfer, it probably wouldn't be cheaper any other way.

I love that I can be in work in the morning, finish lunchtime and have my evening meal in Cafe Mickey. :goodvibes

Eurostar means going up the night before and staying the night after although I did enjoy the journey.
Coach I did for ease when I took the boys on my own (oh and Tesco were paying via Leger and clubcard) but 18 hours with some kid kicking the back of my seat and swearing at his mother isn't something I want to do again in a hurry :(

My trips to Disneyland Paris so far have been by Eurostar (via Paris and RER, and both direct and indirect to/from MLV). The Eurostar is just so convenient, and love that I can get to MLV directly without having to go through Paris (upcoming trips are by Eurostar London-Lille-MLV)! And love the short check-in times for Eurostar too...

Have also been to Paris by plane, but that was a bit of a nightmare as the return flight was very delayed resulting in a mad sprint through Luton to catch the last bus home... So Eurostar is now my transport option of choice if the price is good - especially since I can get a train to London King's Cross from where I am!

Really interested to see that Eurostar is in the lead (at least for us UK based visitors) as I thought it would be car. I've never even considered it but will have to look into it.

We usually choose Eurotunnel and car because I think the problem for us would be getting to St Pancras or Ashford in the first place. For us the French side of the Channel is the shorter and more straightforward part of the journey. The Eurotunnel is not our nearest Channel crossing either but we can use Tesco points to cover the cost which puts it ahead of any of the ferry operators. If only Brittany Ferries accepted Tesco tokens! We often only travel one way going to (or coming from) other regions of France. I also like the independence of having the car, we often eat or shop in VdE for example and of course can carry so much more.

Were in ireland so flying is the only real option, if we were in the uk and near the eurostar would prob prefer this. Train is my fave mode of transport followed by flying
I dont get the attraction of taking your car id hate all that driving plus we only go for 4/5 days everything we need would easily fit in 20kg case:thumbsup2

I voted plane because it's my cheapest and quickest option but nothing beats arriving there by Eurostar - it's such a civilised way to travel (can you tell the Orient Express is on my bucket list? ;) ).

We always used to travel by Eurostar when it went from Waterloo but now it goes from St Pancras it's not such an attractive option for the journey home. My ideal journey is the one we did in 2011 - arrive by direct Eurostar after spending a couple of nights in London :thumbsup2 then flying home as we're only half an hour from the airport.

Plane, anything else would take too long. Then booked transport from airport to DLP

Same for me. We usually take the Vea to dlrp but Ds we are all classed as adults this year we are going for a private transfer with ezyshuttle....looking forward to that!

Really, really surprised - even if you add car Eurotunnel and ferry together it still comes third and I had assumed almost everyone drove. Just shows how wrong you can be! I suppose it is the blinkered approach whereby you tend to think what you do is the norm. :rotfl:

Hmm, now I wonder what percentage of hotel room numbers the respective hotel car parks can hold? Although presumably more of the home market would drive.
