I'm trying to squeeze as much fun and frivolity out of our budget as I can. Here's what I've put together. Tell me what you think?

We're flying SWA, round trip from Kansas City non stop ($811.20 for six people)

We're using FLTOURS for to/from airport and transfers between resorts rather than renting a car for two weeks ($145 for a luxury van.)

We will have a car for one day so we can stay all day at SeaWorld and do some shopping/dinner - Alamo weekend rate for a minivan including tax. ($45.30). We've used Lynx before but decided to splurge so we can stay later.

We have the Universal Fan Club rate for two nights at HardRock Hotel so we can have front of the line access - one of the little ones is a freak for Spidey.

Got 3days for price of two tickets from Universal's site ( will pick up at kiosk so I didn't have to pay shipping.)

We'll have a grocery stop on the way to Shades of Green. Snacks, water, breakfast stuff, adult beverages.

8 nights at Shades of Green.

Ordered 7 day plus park hoppers for hubby and the kids from Hotwire as they're cheaper than SOG prices. I'll get AP at SOG as I'm going back later in the year with pals.

We have discounted passes to DisneyQuest (can't remember which site but got the link from here, great price)

Ordered SeaWorld tickets from the Pepsi deal, cost $30 bucks more than SOG but we'll all have a meal, drink and extra drink later.

4 nights at POFQ with annual pass rate.

Bought breakfast vouchers x2. We have PSs at Princess Storybook and at Ohana. May not save $$ but have them paid for in advance.

Have $87 in Disney Rewards card
Have $25 GC for Rainforest Cafe
Have $50 GC for The Kitchen at HardRock (paid $28.50)
Have $50GC for Pastamore at Universal CityWalk (paid $28.50)
Have $20 gascards for gas to and from airport
Have $10 GC from Target for extras
Have $500 extra spending cash not in the budget from saving change.

Have a garage sale set up for next weekend. The extra trip cash will be nice but the clean garage/basement will be even better.

Do I crave validation? Not really but I need to say THANK YOU to my pals here on the budget board  . I learned everything from YOU!
::yes::

Now, care to share how to get your PHP's through hotwire? This is one I haven't heard of!!!

Thanks and Have a great trip!

Disney_1derland, sorry I wasn't clear. I got the breakfast vouchers and the 7 day parkhopper + passes from Hotwire Savings Club

Great job, crazyforgoofy!

It looks like you really worked the budget angle of your trip. Now, all you have to do is go and enjoy it! Have fun!

telling me how much you paid for those 7 day hoppers? I haven't signed up for HSC yet, was going to wait until august to do so, but I'd love to know what the price is so I can plan around that!

Thanks!:sunny:

Hey do you mind shareing your total budget? I am just courious :teeth:
We are 'only' doing WDW this time, I have another trip in the works to DisneyLand for Dec or Jan. That will be a cheap one because I can stay w/family.
After that I want to start working on another trip to Orlando that includes US&IOA as well as a few other treats we can't fit in this time. It never hurts to have an idea of what it all might add up to!

7 Day Park Hoppers?

Please tell me why?

This will give you 7 "Major" days and 4 "Pluses"

Correct?

This is much more than you need...Are u planning on "Banking" days?

If so, check out the 5 + 4 Hopper sold by Wal*Mart in Kissimmee!

Have a GREAT TIME - Your plan and research looks GREAT!

I envy your!

Thanks! I learned everything I know from The DIS and MouseSavers (which I learned about from The DIS).

Yes, we DO have 7 WDW park days planned. We may not do FULL days as the kids love pool time too. We'll be at Universal for two part days and one full day, at SeaWorld one day, a day each at BB and TL and we'll spend Memorial Day goofin off. That should add up to the number of days we're in Orlando. We figure to fit DQ in, perhaps on a "partial" park day. We'll have 2 pluses left from each of their passes but that's cool, we'll use em sometime. I'm using leftover plusses from a trip last year for BB and TL as my annual pass won't be 'premium'.
