So happy, saved money on package! (also a ?)

I purchased my package to GCH through Disney near the beginning of the year and it was fully paid for. Then I saw that there was the "Fall Package Deal" and I didn't think I was eligible since my package was fully paid and I just got my tickets in the mail. But I called and asked and they applied the discount and refunded me the difference, minus a $50 change fee. I didn't mind the fee because I was soooo happy, I got $630 back credited to my card!!!

So thank you for the helpful advice on this board and remember to always call and ask for a discount to be applied to your package EVEN IF you've already paid and gotten your tickets!

Also, one little question, this is my first time and first package for DL. I received the package from UPS and it had luggage tags, booklet of coupons for priority seating etc, park hopper cards, hotel confirmation and a letter explaining the package. The letter says that they have enclosed a PhotoPass card and instructions to get started and sign up online before I go. But there was no PhotoPass card or instructions inside. Am I missing out on anything here?

Wow, what a great savings. Good for you. As for the photopass. Normally one of them comes in the package but unlike WDW there is no special savings if you sign up for a photopass CD prior to going to the DL. In fact, there is a great deal in getting a free photopass CD when you purchase a Photo Gallery CD at the photo shop in the park. Basically you buy the Photo Gallery Cd (it has 300 professional photos of the park) foro $59 and in it is a voucher for a free photopass CD. Here is a link to the thread that talks all about it.

Every photopass photographer has photopass cards. Just make sure you either use the same one each time or keep all of them that have pictures attached to them. I took a photo of the back of my card just in case I lost the card I could still get my pictures online. If you are going to do the photopass CD, make sure you have your picture taken every single time you can from a photopass photogragher to make it worth your money.
