The title says it all really :cool1:

So, this morning I managed to secure a 2-bed (Garden/Pool view) checking in on 10/27 for 5 nights. I was beginning to give up hope, having previously tried unsuccessfully to get 5 nights from 10/22.

Anyway, having now secured the booking, I was wondering what to do about requests. We are travelling with my in-laws so would ideally like to be close to elevators. On our last trip there (just 2 weeks ago), we stayed in a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the pool, however I worry that this might be a bit noisy for my FIL, who likes to take a nap in the afternoon.

Is there a map/diagram anywhere that shows where the 2-bed preferred view units are?

Can anyone suggest what I should request. My last request was for village green view (even though we didn't get it) but that was in a studio and I don't think there are any 2-beds overlooking the village green, is that right?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Additionally, I have read about a free guided tour of the Boardwalk. Does anyone know if that still takes place. My in-laws would love it, I think.

All of the units that are garden or pool view face the canal between the BWV and the Swan. AT the very least you won't see the parking lots. You were right in assuming that no 2BR units have a view of the Village Green....

Me too!!! I just called today to change my AKV ressie to OKW and at the end of the call asked about my BWV waitlist just to make sure it was still in place and she said it came through! 6 nights in a standard 1 bedroom during F&W, I am so pumped!!! Can I jump on your thread and ask the same question about standard view rooms?

That's great news. Feel free to hijack :thumbsup2 I have had a wonderful standard view studio before, that was right near the quiet pool. ground floor but on the other side. Literally turned left out of the room onto the walkway to DHS. It was wonderfully quiet. I'm not sure about 1-bed locations though, sorry.

It must be a slow week, or we were all lucky. I just booked 5 nights at BWV Garden View Studio, 10/27-11/1 myself.

Cheers :hippie:
