So Glad I DIS!!!

I am (once again) so glad that I found the DIS boards / WDWInfo site.

I just called to make my Disneyland reservations for November.

We are going for my Dad's 60th Birthday (he turns 60 during our trip). I asked about the 60+ discount I read about on the DIS and low and behold, I saved $431.50 off our 5 night stay at the DLR.

Full Price of package w/ 4 day hopper tickets = $2030.00
60+ discount package w/ 4 day hopper tickets = $1598.50

The price of the room went from $260 a night (before tax) to $182 a night (before tax).

I am so happy, just had to share the news with people who would understand!

My hubby's 8 years ahead of me so I guess I can start counting down to when he can earn us a nice discount! Only 6 years to go! I'll be sure to let him know he has a reason to look forward to being 60. I know he will be thrilled.
