So glad I booked early

I booked my car for our June trip originally in January and then rebooked in March because the price dropped. Right now we have a midsize with 2 drivers unlimited mileage blah blah blah for 8 days, $170.00. Because I'm that guy I recheck the pricing everyday and right now it's $570.00. Same car same times. INSANE.

This is why it is always suggested to book a rate and keep checking. No sense trying to time the rates since you can always rebook and cancel if the price drops.
