When I went back to work I was supposed to be able to bring the baby (well she's 1) to the new daycare center we were opening. Well, things happened and the daycare won't open till next year. So my sister said she would watch her. I pay her well for watching her and she has the car seat so she can run errands if needed. Now six weeks into the school year my sister tells me that she can't watch her anymore because watching two kids to too stressful. (She has a 3 year old of her own). I have 2 kids, I do understand that it is stressful and a lot of work. However, she and her dh are in a huge amount of debt and fuss all the time to anyone who will listen about the fact that they are broke. (Even though my sister refuses to get a regular job)I made a point of paying her generously because I knew that they needed the money. One would think that they would be happy to have the extra money. But I guess not. She only watches the baby 6 hours a day. My feelings are just hurt. Now I have to find somewhere else for the baby and the only other place I would consider sending her has a waiting list. Now, 4 weeks ago the other location called and said they had an opening but I turned them down because my sister said that she was happy watching her. And now I need the slot there's a waiting list. I just feel bad. And slightly pissed off.
Thanks for listening.
