So frustrated with the new website/reservation system

I've now been on hold for 45 minutes with Disney Dining since no matter what I do I cannot link my resort stay to my dining reservations, and I'm trying to make reservations for 4th of July! :furious::badpc::scared1:

Is there a reason they took a perfectly good website and sent it to the break it department??!??!?!?

I had no problem linking my ADR's to the new MyDisneyExperience account, but I've been out of luck linking my $15K worth of hotel reservations coming up in 23 days to the account for the last two weeks. In frustration, I emailed customer service, waited a week, and got back a link that allows me to use the old site for my hotel reservations. They also said the "latest patch" applied last night might make it possible for me to get the hotel reservation linked in. When I tried it, it looked like it worked. But, going back to the "My Reservations" page, it clearly did not.

It's very clear that the MyDisneyExperience site was not tested at all, using real life data. Heck, I've found three ways to produce an http 500 error just by filling out the last name field! As bad as this new system is, I expect some in IT will not be getting a bonus, and more than a few might get a pink slip.

I understand your frustration! I think I've added a lot more gray hair just trying to deal with Disney's website in the last few months.

But, I don't think the old system was 'perfectly good'. :) Under the old website, I could never get my dining reservations to show up. I tried linking them for months. My resort reservation showed up, but nothing else. I had issues making ADR's on my 180+10 window, though I was finally able to get it done it was a huge headache.

Under the new site I could get dining to show up, but my resort reservations couldn't be found (which made me really nervous ... I was assured in an email that my reservations were there, but it was a problem with the new site). This morning I logged on and immediately got a message "we are updating your account with your reservations, please wait". Everything showed up. Finally! I have all of my reservations showing up under my account, all at one time.

We are going in Feb., and I have two reservations (because we have 2 hotel rooms). I had to add them both manually to the new website and none of my 27 dining reservations transferred. I started adding them manually, and it was working, but after 5 ADRs, the site crashed (using Chrome) and I had to reboot by computer. I have not tried it since.

Once thing I noticed that I didn't like was that just going between different areas on the site, it continually made me log in again and again. Nervous! Needless to say, I am printing out all my ADRs to take with me just in case...
