For sure, I recently took my mom to DLR, she joked that it seems the roles are reversed now since she was the one taking me before and in recent times I normally go with my friends. I took her specially because I wanted to be there while she experienced Galaxy's Edge for the first time and wanted my first RoTR ride to be with her, all four of us adults had a blast, we even rode Dumbo cause it's my sister's favorite since she was a teeny tiny toddler.I've often said one of my favorite things is seeing my husband's smile and enjoyment and laughter (which is quite distinctive). I think people find enjoyment from going with whomever is in their traveling party, what a grump I would be if I couldn't find enjoyment out of my spouse being there just because we're not teens or kids? I wished my mom could have gone with us in 2017, to see her eyes light up in a place she hasn't gone in a long while or in 2019 to DLR. But to some it's only okay for her to see enjoyment from me not from me to find enjoyment out of her because I'm her kid. Although....hmmm..we're both adults so IDK we're strange I guess![]()
Part of the magic for me is having all this experiences with ppl I love, regardless of their age. But I would be lying if I said I only go to the parks to see how they have fun and implying I don't find the rides thrilling, or the parades heartwarming or that I don't enjoy the ambiance myself. I have fun going and sharing it with others is a big part of it, but not the only part.
