So excited!

I just have to say that I am so excited about my upcoming trip...I cannot get anything done because all I want to do is read everything on this site!! I want to thank this site: to everyone who maintains it and to all the subscribers. The wealth of information here on this site is invaluable!

I have been to WDW about 18 times over the past 36 years and have seen it grow...it is by far my favorite place on earth to visit! This will be the first time my family and I get to stay at the Poly! My father (who passed away last year) always wanted to stay there but could never afford it. So when the free dining plan came up this year I talked with my mother about going but staying at POP because that is all I could afford. She definately wanted go under one stipulation: stay at the POLY!!! It is a dream come true!!! I know my father will definately be with us as we visit this magical place.

I, my mother (who is 78), my daughter (8), my son (12) and his friend (11) will be arriving on 9/15

Yes, I do have ADRs and that has been difficult. I really have been trying to get into the LTT but everything is booked...but I will keep trying.

Right now we have nothing specifically planned...I want to take our time so that my mother can enjoy herself and not feel rushed. My daughter did BBB and the Princess lunch 2 years ago and I asked if she wanted to do it again and she said "no" which surprised me. Instead, she is all geared up to ride the Rock and Roll Roller coaster because 2 years ago (her 1st trip) she was 1 inch too short and she was devastated!! So I think I will be taking her and the boys to DHS (extra eve hour) the 1st day we are there. Other than that we are just going to have the best ever!

We're arriving on the 15th too...staying at the Pop so I will probably taking your place there..lol!!!! Anyways, it's our first trip to Disney, first time to Florida in fact!! Way too excited!!! I'm glad to here that you went for the Poly...when you lose someone you realize there's no time like the present and you need to go for the gusto!!!! Have a FANTASTIC trip, I know we will!!!

Thank you all for your kind words...I am very touched! I plan on keeping a log while I am there so that I can post when I get back.
I know I will probably get a little emotional when I arrive in the lobby at the Poly knowing how much Dad always wanted to be there. So I am going to make certain my mom and children (and myself) have the time of our lives in honor of "POP POP".
