Im still a little confused about what clothes to wear though

I'm excited too!!!

As to clothes, I'm taking a bit of everything. Shorts and T Shirts for warm days and trousers and long sleeved tops / fleece for cold evenings.

You need to take gloves, hat and a warm jacket as well...it can be VERY cold...we had frost on most of our mornings and that's apparently not uncommon.

Last Christmas we were in shorts and t-shirts during the day, weather was fantastic. It went very cold in the evenings though.

We took our jeans a fleeces and put them in a locker in the morning, went off for the day and then came back to wrap up for the evening.

A good mixture of clothing required!!!!!!!!!

I know. With christmas and the trip (4 weeks YEAH!!) it is getting very exciting.
Packing for this time of year is a pain, there is no way to travel light. In fact, I think maybe I should start packing soon, cos it might take me a while to figure out the best combination of layers for everyone (5 of us).
