In less than an hour, I'm going to be off on my annual Women's Trip to the wineries -yippy! It's the only 48 hours out of the year that I'm not taking care of anybody but me, myself and I! Although I obviously love disney, I still have to take care of the kids - dh and ds :rotfl2: so I love this trip to just relax, sleep in and not be "on". Yeah! Anyone else do this kind of thing?

I take a fun, long weekend trip once a year with some other mom friends. NO kids, NO husbands, lots of booze. :thumbsup2 I seriously LOVE those gals!

Have fun!!

Have a GREAT time!

I travel some for work, so I use that as "me" time. Actually, I've designated it at "Mommy Appreciation Time" because the family seems to really appreciate all that I do when I come home!

I did go camping alone for three blissful days when DH was gone for Nat'l Guard and kids were at summer camp. It's been three years, and I've never been able to do it since.

Ohhh, have a great time!! I went away with my best friend to see Bon Jovi this summer. We had a blast!!

Every chance I get!

Have fun! Which wineries? We visited the NY Finger Lakes this summer; it was a lot of fun. And a LOT of wine....sheesh!

Have fun! I leave next week for our girls only trip to the beach! I'm looking forward to no kids, no men, no dogs, and a lot of drinking and catching up!

Three of my girlfriends and I go to Ocean City Maryland every fall. We stay for two nights. We hit the outlets in Rehoboth on the first night, have dinner, and then the next day, we rent bikes and ride on the boardwalk, and then sit on the beach, eat snackies and drink wine. It is HEAVEN! We go out for crabs at night, and then drive home the next day.

I look forward to that trip every year!!!:thumbsup2

Haven't done it in a long time but my two best friends and I are doing a weekend away next weekend. 2 nights in Cape May. Planning on Tea, shopping, maybe some house visits, if the weather is good a possible dolphin cruise, and a lot of good food that I don't have to cook or serve to the kids and DH. Enjoy your trip!

Have a wonderful time!

I do this, too. We don't have kids, but I work with people that are like children. :lmao:

I have a girls weekend at DL every July 17th for DL's birthday. This is so much fun.

Then, in October I have the CHOC walk also at DL. This is no drinking because we have to get up at 4am.

Got back last night from a great weekend! We also did the Fingerlakes wineries with our base in Geneva, NY. Had a bit of a scare, however, bc our usual b&b of four years literally burned to the ground the night before we left; so we had to really scramble to find a place as this is the prime season to go. Felt so bad for the owner, she put her life and retirement/pension/etc. in her place to have lost it all. but we found a place, had a great time with 7 girlfriends, and already set the date for next year!
