I just booked our first 3 nights at the Hilton at Downtown Disney. :cheer2: We are going to do the timeshare presentation so we got the room for $33/night. Now I can book my last 4 nights at the Poly and DH won't have a fit over the final accomodations total :earseek: He is ok with doing the presentation (he loves telling pushy salespeople no!)

Does anyone know if Disney will move your luggage from the Hilton to a Disney resort (I think they will do it if you are moving from one Disney property to another)?

great news!

no WDW only moves luggage from one of its hotels to another WDW resort.

so you will need to move it.

It depends upon how much - but when I stayed off site then on site - I just took the luggage on the MK bus with us. I got told it was not going to the airport - we just ignored the driver. and I walked over to the bus transportation to the Polyn at the TTC - now I would have walked over to the Polyn. We waited along time - and I mean a long time - over an hour - the FW bus can and went about 4 times - before the Polyn bus came. I don't even think they have one now from the TTC????

the Polyn is around a 10 minute walk from TTC.

Thanks for the info!

We will have our vehicle but we thought if they would move our luggage for us it would make things a little bit easier.

How did you get that rate????

I filled out the form on the website and they called me at home that evening. The rep said she was unaware of the $249 deal but could give the rate of $33/night (which does not include park tickets.) I did have to pay a $50 advance booking fee as well since our reservation is more than 6 months in advance.

I filled out the form, but it said the offer was not available in my area. Is there a phone number I could call. Did they give you one?

What website do I need to fill out the form. We are looking for a place for 2 nights.
Thanks,
Shannon

Since you won't be able to have Disney move your luggage for you, the easiest would be to just take a cab from the Hilton to the Poly. Its a short trip so it won't be expensive and you'll have bell services at each end to help you with the bags.
