So excited....I just booked a villa

for Thanksgiving week and now found out that my ILs might be coming with us.

The villa is 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms with own pool/spa (and I'm paying for the heating since we'll be there in November).

I'm so excited..it took me WELL OVER a week to decide, and I am saving over $350 from the reservation I had at POR (for a room 300ish sq ft), and its in Formosa Gardens (less than 4 miles from WDW). With my kids I really felt that I needed space for us to spread out (they will be 5 & 3).

Any tips from those that have rented?

well Happy Birthday!!!

be prepared to go the parks early - sometimes (like on Fri/Sat) they will probably be enough people for WDW to close the parks to off site visitors.

believe it or not Thursday, Thanksgiving day, was the LEAST crowded this year....Amazing I excepted it to be covered in people - it wasn't.

Someone posted on the Budget Board that Dollar Tree has Mickey and Miney nightlights. I bought 3 to take to our rented villa this Summer. We'll need them and I figured they'd add a little Disney to the kid's rooms and I could leave them there since they were so cheap.

I'm going to keep my eyes open for Disney pillow cases, pool toys, towels and anything else on sale that I can take with us.
