When we went last year, we had not made an ADR for Le Cellier and tried to get in for dinner one day....hahaha. Well, this time I was able to get lunch reservations (yes, even at 3 months out I couldn't score dinner, but hey, I'll take it), and I'm interested in everyones favorite items - whatcha got?

Oh, and I'm not clear as to whether there is a kids menu. Nothing listed on line, but I am assuming there is...my kids love steak!!

Just went for lunch 11/30...AWESOME Fillet Mignon!! :lovestruc There is a kid's menu...and there is a steak option too! Our DD8 got that and ate up every last bite! This was one of our favorite meals...definitely worth the wait (we have tried for 2 years to get a ressie!) :cool1:

My husband liked the filet very much. I loved the maple creme brulee. Everyone on the boards rave about the cheese soup and pretzel bread sticks.

All of these items are good choices.

the kansas city strip was great and so was the chocolate moose

I LOVE the caesar salad, cheddar cheese soup, breadsticks, and mushroom filet with the maple creme brulee for dessert. It is my favourite meal!

I really liked the crab cake appetizer, the filet mignon is EXCELLENT (the softest meat I have ever eaten) with the mushroom topping, and the maple creme brulee is awesome. My family also loved the pretzel breadsticks, HUGE RAVES for the mussels appetizer, and the cheese soup was great!

I loved the pretzel bread, cheese soup, tomato stack, and maple creme brulee.

The steaks, however, I wouldn't bother ordering again. Nothing wrong with them, just your average Outback/Longhorn kind of thing to me. Not what I want to pay $30+ for.

my recommendation is to not go! :rotfl2:

i know people love this place, but we gave it 2 tries and they were equally awful experiences. we love lunch at chefs de france, san angel inn, and nine dragons in the world showcase. hope you have good luck there!!

We've gone lots of times over the years! (If you want dinner, you really need to book 180 days out!)

I love the filet! We have never had a bad meal there. I can never figure out how people have negative experiences at Le Cellier! :confused3 I guess we've never had bad luck there!

LOVE the pretzel bread and cheese soup. But the steak so SO GOOD. I don't usually like to eat a lot of red meat, but I always do at Le Cellier!

Same here!

I did like the chicken/chipotle sausage appetizer and the cute mousse, however.

The cheese soup is one of the best soups I have ever had!!

As most have mentioned, the cheese soup and pretzel bread sticks are both excellent. I have had the hamburger there twice and it is simply unbelievable. It has this yummy maple glaze. We will be going for our third time in three trips and I plan to get it again.

They do have a kid's menu. Off the top of my head I know they have cheese pizza, meaty macaroni (with turkey and tomato sauce) and steak. We tried the macaroni and cheese side on the adult menu for our 3 year old after being warned on both occasions that it is a "sophisticated take" on mac and cheese. Well, he didn't eat it and neither did we - lots of bread crumbs and very bland.

Here is my suggestion for you at Le'Cellier: Do not go there expecting to experience the most incredible culinary experience in your life where the ground shakes, the moon and stars align, time stands still and you are transported into a near state of orgasmic euphoria. If you go there expecting to have an experience like that of how it's hyped up to be, you will leave there very disappointed.

However, if you go there with realistic and tempered expectations, you may leave very satisfied. Le'Cellier is what it is, an average to slightly above average steakhouse that is a great value on the ddp as a 1ts(for now) restaurant. For me, my experience was more hype and less sizzle once we sat down and ate there. Good luck and I truly do hope you enjoy it. :thumbsup2

The filet mignon was wonderful! My husband had the NY strip streak and was not too impressed. He wished he would have ordered the filet after I let him sample mine. I also really liked the pretzel bread. My DS4 liked the bread as well. I had the cheese soup that everyone speaks so highly about, but I didn't really care for it. The chocolate mousse dessert was really cute. I ended up giving it to my DS. Overall this was the best meal so far that I have had a WDW.

Had a great prime rib "dip" sandwich a few years ago - so good! Lots of very lean meat (no fat - I hate that!) - it was wonderful!

Has there been any word on it going signature on dining plan? We wil be in WDW in mid-June, not using dp, but wondering how the menu will change ? Not sure if making a ressie, especially if prices skyrocket :confused3
