We live in Georgia and have been to WDW close to 100 times with our 4 kids. I have a business trip to Seattle coming up and asked my wife if she wanted to go since I had lined up in-laws to watch the kiddos. Then I was having a hard time finding a good direct flight from Atlanta to Seattle. Then my mind began to craft a plan. I called the in-laws and asked if 5 days was too long. They said no.

I then booked one way tickets to LA and 2 night 3 days on site! Then one way tickets from LA to Seattle and finally one way tickets from Sea to Atlanta.

So excited! We both love the history of Walt Disney and can't wait to totally absorb everything in 3 days. haha

Have fun and you will have an excuse to make another trip...to take the kids

No idea if it's in your budget, but I've heard good things about the Walk In Walt's Footsteps Tour at DL for fans of Disney history and Walt. I just wanted to throw this your way as you mentioned you're both into the history of Walt Disney so it might be something you want to check out. Hope you have a wonderful time!

I've heard about it too and would love that but we've decided that tour will be our impetus for a second trip. :D
