This time next week I will be on a plane to WDW!!!

I am feeling overwhelmed! I still have to shop for our trip and pack obviously. I am also an elementary school teacher so I am finishing out our school year this week.

Anything else I need to do this week that I might not be thinking about?

I was also thinking about buying this bag for our double stroller when we gate check it? Worth it?

And finally... what about toddler harnesses.... I am not worried about our 3 year old so much (although I realize we are talking Disney here)... but my 2 year old is STUBBORN... and wants to walk by himself and usually will refused to hold our hands. I just wonder how much they will want our of the stroller. Should I bring a harness or two as well?

Elementary School teacher here- We can start a support group. Schools out next Friday- our flight is 6:00am Sat. morning.

DD is performing in her final 4 performances of a local production of High School Musical this weekend. We are throwing her a Pool Party for her BD on Monday. And I'm trying to get organized. We are traveling with 21 family members- Our first ever Grand Gathering!

I'm counting on :mickeyjum anticipation to get me through the week!

My students last day is Thursday... Mine is Friday. Flight leaves at 7am Saturday morning!

lol My mind is elsewhere... like Disney... and I have so much to do at school too!

Our last day of school was Thursday, and we're leaving this coming Thursday. Didn't want to travel over Memorial Day.

I have made a cheat sheet (on top of the excessive amount of packing lists, index cards, and 3-ring binder) to get me through until next week.

*Every day I'm cleaning at least one room of the house. (Nobody wants to come home to a dirty house!)
*I am going to catch up on my scrapbooking, so that when we get back I can just start right in on the Disney pics. I should be caught up tomorrow.
*I have a short list of stuff still to buy
*And a calendar of what things to get done on what days, including getting our boarding passes, confirming reservations, blah blah blah.

I am so

Pack, buy last minute things, make sure you have enough of any prescription medications you take and make sure you have enough snacks for your kiddos on the plane and if you are still using them diapers. I also do laundry and clean so I don't have to deal with that when I come home. Do you have pets you're dealing with? Make sure you have everything they will need and a note for the person caring for your pets giving the vet permission to do whatever is necessary to care for your animal should anything happen in your absence. Don't forget to leave the vets number!!! Make sure at least one person in your family and one in your husband's family has all of your travel itinerary and phone numbers should anyone need to get a hold of you in an emergency. Did you deal with your mail and newspapers? You don't want anyone noticing you aren't getting those, and any mail left in your mail box leaves you open to identity theft. They like to take things from mail boxes!

With the harnesses they may come in handy, but I can tell you it doesn't take long for the kids to get tired of walking and want to ride. My DD even at 6 wanted to ride a lot because she had a hard time trying to keep up. It is sooo much easier to have them in that stroller when navigating the crowds. You will be much less likely to have them wander off or get swallowed up in a crowd.

Have a great trip!!!!

Just thought of something else! Make sure you have everything you'll need like tickets, boarding passes, reservation confirmation numbers for plane, hotel and TS meals, ME tickets if you are using it, make sure yellow ME baggage tags are on your suitcases, and any and all communications between you and WDW that you have. It never hurts to be over prepared!
