So excited! AKL with new code

I'm so excited. I just booked AKL for $124 a night (standard) with the new August code that came out! I've always wanted to stay there. The rate was so good I couldn't pass it up! I haven't told DD4 yet. She doesn't think we're going back until December. I just had to share my news. I knew if anyone could relate, it would be fellow DIS'ers.

Dopey, $194 is for Savannah view. That's a great deal too, but still too expensive for me. I booked online at the Disney website and used the August code. You can select from different rooms and views on the resorts.

I just did the same thing. I booked 4 nights at AKL for me and my daughter for August 4-8. I got a pool view rate of $135 per night. We have a big family trip planned for January, but I am dying to go back and my husband is traveling on business during those days. So I booked it.

I am excited to go with just my daughter, who is 4.5 years old and a Disney geek already! We are theme park commandos together. Plus, since it rains a lot in August, I thought AKL would be a good choice because there are so many things to do there.

My one catch... I have not told my husband yet, and I am hoping he does not get upset over the extra expense of this mini trip. However, I think he will be fine. Now I just have to find some good flight prices!

We just got back yeaterday and stayed at AKL 5 nights. Awesome resort. We had Savannah View and my 4 and 2 year old loved it. DD told me this morning that she was ready to go back to the brown Disney World house, but this next time she was taking her dogs to play with the Tommies. Uh, don't think so, but I do plan on making another trip!

I went to Disney.com, went into Disney Destinations, WDW, and then the "book your stay" option. From there, click on special offers. Next, click on August resort savings (or something like that). Then, it gives the details of the offer and you can click on "book online." From there, you enter in your dates/resort choice and it will factor the code into the rate for you. Otherwise, you can call CRO and ask for the code if you'd rather do it by phone. I prefer to do it online since I can compare lots of resorts before making my choice. Hope that helps.
