So, do you like the QSDP?

Could you please direct me to that confirmed information about 2009 CS receipts? I am trying to figure out if I want the QSDP or not. I found sooo many issues with the DDP and waiters using adult credits on us in 2007. I wasted alot of vacation time when mistakes were made. I do not want to repeat it this year. I liked the fact that at counter services it was clear at the register we were 2 adults and 2 children. No hassels!

This is the poster that I was referring to, who confirms the separation. Hope this helps :goodvibes:

That post does not say counter service or show a receipt. They could still be just allowing what your actual card says 2A 2C at the register. I don't want any mistakes being made again and this time I would be holding up a busy line during Easter break. Has anyone seen the receipts?

If anyone has seen the receipt and can confirm this---TIA. Also is the post referring to the QSDP or has Disney modified all plans to break down to adult/child??

There are many places that accept the QSDP that are not listed in the brochure WDW gives you. We were able to enjoy the counter service at Japan last night. They also give a dessert with the kids meal, which most of the other restaurants do not do.

Which restaurant in Japan?

We did the quick service plan for only one night from Jan 12-13 and I do not have my receipt but I know that our counter service meals were not seperated into adult or child. It simply listed the total number of counter service meals remaining for both adult and child together. With that being said I do know that because we had 2 adults and 2 kids on the plan we could not have bought 4 adult counter services at one time.

If the receipts are separated into adult and child, how do they handle the cs with no child's menu. For instance, my husband and son loves the Yorkshire for fish and chips and my daughter and I get ours elsewhere, would my husband have to specifically state that he is ordering for 1 adult and 1 child so that he doesn't use up 2 adult credits?

Also, if my daughter decides to choose one from there, will they know to process 1 adult and 2 child credits?

I just don't want to end up with more childs credits than adults....also, my husband may forget to make sure they deduct the child.

Ooh...good question...I need to know this too! We're planning to hit a couple of the places with no kiddie menu, but I don't want them using the adult credits for his food. Hope someone knows this one!

Sorry just started reading thread and will not get through right now so....is there tax on the total and how much? thx

The meals are separated. They don't print, but any cm can scan your card and tell you what remains. What you see on your receipt is just how many cs meals remain and how many credits were used. It does not say child cs, or adult cs. The snack credits are pooled. The receipt says, for example, 1 snack credit used, 10 snack remaining. It really isn't a big deal. We didn't have one issue.

Has this always been the case. Also why not just separate them on the receipts then? The Table Service are.
ilovecoasters, is this what a cm told you? I'm not doubting you I'm just wondering where that info came from.

We had the qsdp this past weekend. I have received a ton of pm's from people questioning what I'm reporting. I don't feel like I should have to post copies of my receipt. Just trying to be helpful with some info.:confused3

But then how can you keep track of how many adult credits you used and how many child credits were used.
Can a CM swipe your card and tell you how many adult credits are left and how many child credits are left? Or can they just tell you how many CS credits are left?

these are questions for Disney not for another poster. Please stop pm'g her - she doesn't work for disney!!!!!!!!

Sorry that you had such a bad experience. Although I did not pm you, I distinctly remember a post suggesting that they pm you (so maybe that's why you received so many pms), but I could be wrong. When I looked back, there were no such posts. I even remembered asking the person who was going to pm you if she had gotten any further info. But I can't find my post anywhere. Maybe I was thinking of another thread. :confused3

Anyways, I just thought I'd let you know that I appreciate the info. And I absolutely do NOT think that you should have to post any copies of your receipts. :)

But I am hoping that someone else does so we can get this straighten out.:thumbsup2

This thread is getting way off topic of the question "Do you like the QSDP" Please get back on the topic of the QSDP, or this thread will be closed as being off topic.

Thanks! :goodvibes

(There is a thread "Question about CS Credits" that is more in line with the current postings on this thread)
