So Disney tried to give me a panic attack!

I called the OKW number this morning to verify our reservation starting Sunday. The first lady I talked to could not find my name in the system. She was supposed to transfer me to the front desk for OKW because apparently I got a general Disney number. Well the guy she transferred me to was also not at OKW and he couldn't find my name either. So now I'm starting to freak out because we rented points off a friend for this trip and wasn't sure what to do. He finally pulled up the list for OKW and right away found my reservation. So everything looks to be all set for our trip. Just thought I'd share the near panic attack I had this morning. 2 more days until our first stay at OKW!

You were lucky - we've had several reports that the DVC resorts are not confirming reservations for renters. Apparently, they are/were getting too many calls for this.

Even if you hadn't been able to confirm in this manner, it would not have meant there wasn't a reservation.

This happened to my son and his bride too. We rented points for their honeymoon. They were told their confirmation number wasn't valid. MS wouldn't even talk to them! We just had the member that made the reservation check(they were wonderful!) Everything was fine and they had a great trip.

Hey we didn't make it either, so really I can't talk but I HAD to give you a hard time about it. There wasn't anyway around it
