We just got back from WDW. Good trip but Animal Kingdom seemed really run down. Lots of the buildings had old flyers posted on them and the stucco siding pealing off. Some of the walk way didnt match. Some looked like old bricks others were cracked concrete

Not saying AK couldn't use some touch-up, but some of what you're describing sounds like theming, not disrepair.
