So I was very excited to get a nice deal on some airfare and I was willing to stay offsite (just this once lol!) I wanted to go in may only for a few days but DH says NO. We are going in dec for a week! Boo to him!!! I know I shouldnt sulk, alot of people dont get to go to disney at all! He just doesnt get my love for all things Disney!! I figured someone on here would understand!!

 I understand completely.

Did you try to entice him with a golf day if that's his thing?

There are attractions to visit that don't cost much but which your youngster/s would enjoy as well (zoo, science museum, Downtown Disney, beach, etc. etc.

PM me and I have another idea for you to present to your husband.

I totally understand. We are going in December this year because we haven't been at Christmas time since our honeymoon 12 years ago. Although I am VERY excited about that, I'm a little bummed we are breaking out 5 year tradition of going at halloween time for the party and food and wine festival. Silly, but I still feel that way.

Maybe you could find a good airfare to your husband's vacation spot.

Hes not really a vacation type of person. Odd I know! I have many times said we can go anywhere he wants and he doesnt come up with anything except "Maybe Ill just spend my vacation week doing things around the house" Im a leader hes a follower so its usually me doing the picking and planning of vacations. Not my fault I always wanna go to Disney lol!

Im a brat! We always go in may but my mother turns 50 this december so she wanted to celebrate in disney. So we decided to go see all of the christmas stuff and celebrate her bday with her. But Im kinda bummed that I wont be leaving in 7 weeks. Thats why I was searching around at airfares and hotel cost and it would cost us nothing compared to what we usually spend. I figured that would be enough! But NO I wouldnt o for it!!

Why not just plan a solo trip or a trip with just you and the kids?

I would if my boys were not such little handfuls! DH has a thing against more than once a year WDW trips! i dont get it lol!
