Did you get the one pin you really wanted??? I went looking for 2 pins and I was able to get them both... Took a bit but I traded for the Cast Christmas LE 400 from the Disney Studios and the AK Event CTT... How about you? Did you get a Holy Grail?

In case you didn't read the other posts, or didn't see me flashing it, yes I did get a Holy Grail pin.......The 2001 Haunted Mansion Holiday translucent LE 150 pin. Wow that is one HUGE pin!

Well, I saw my holy grail...HM Dangle...on a lanyard no less!

But I traded for 9 Beauty and the Beast pins that I was looking for, and a bunch of patriotic pins, so I am a happy camper!!:D

Ooooh! The HM dangle is my Holy Grail too!! I've only seen it in person once and it was soooo beautiful! I love that huge 2001 translucent pin too! It's too bad I didn't win the 2002 on my RSP to go with it. :( Anyone wanna trade it for my 30th anniversay doombuggy pin? :smooth:

=Tabby=

I'm not sure I really have a holy grail, but I did trade for some additional 100 Years of Magic pins from Japan that I had wanted, another Tinkerbell (thanks Jeff!) and another Hanukkah pin (thanks Robin!) My kids are the ones that really got the good pins this trip...even though they weren't there!

My friend Joey traded for a Hitchhiking Ghosts pin and I was able to get one of the Tinkerbell CM pins from DL...both from the same person that we just met while walking around MK, so that was pretty cool!

I can't wait to go back with my family in November!!

............or a favorite book, and certainly could never have just one holy grail, but can tell you that Monday night at Robyn (Eeyore's Pal) and Malcolm's small soiree, a very few specially blessed people were I am sure just knocked off their seats when they saw me do the "Happy Pin Dance" for a pin I never dreamed I would even come close to getting on this trip, and that was the Jiminy Cricket Commuter Assistance 2000 pin......
Thanks, Nat!
.....and then there's the Xmas Holiday 2001 CM exclusive....
Thanks, Nat!
.....and the CM 1999 Holiday Belle (Holy Grail since the beginning!)
Thanks, Susan"TennisNut"!
....and a pin also on my Holy Grail list for more than a year, a very hard to get pin until it showed up in everybody's grab bag (Except Mine!) the 1999 Holiday Pin w/Mickey and Minnie....
Thanks, Peggie for trading!
.....and the Bad Girls Boxed Set, a new addition to my list........
Thanks, Daber!

Oh, my, oh, my! I guess I can't give up pins now!!:jester:

Big Hugs, and special thanks to everyone who traded with me--I hope you all went home filled with as many wonderful memories as I did!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

As Daber hasnt told me what is on my lanyard....so you see since my list of HGs is so big I may have gotten one of them. He is keeping me in suspence to drag out the fun a little bit longer. God Bless him, this has been a blast!

Congrats to all of you on finding that special pin.

Special Congrats to my Pin Proxy Daber....you surely deserved your holy grail and I know how much you wanted it!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

since my poor Pin Proxy Robyn would have had to trade all my pin and part of hers to get that. I know my terrific proxy Robyn was able to get some of the pins i was really wanting: Hula Minnie Lanyard Pin, Herc and Meg Heart, and Conquered the World Donald. (see us small fish dream small).

Your welcome Ruthie.... It was great to meet you!!!!

I went down to the event looking for 5 pins and I came back still looking for 3 and now Trina is looking for a pin too so this didn't work out well at all. I wanted to find the Disneyland 2002 Fourth of July set and with the help of our own Mad Strawberry I was able to get them (Thanks Barbara and thanks for giving me the bird, I think). I also wanted to find the Walt Disney World 2002 Fourth of July set and with the gracious help of Mickey527 I was able to complete that set and it didn't even involve a speed-o (except for the stamp in my passport which I still hesitate to let my kids see). The three pins I am still searching for are: Seasonal Series Winter Pooh (PinPics #3587), Seasonal Pooh - Lazy Days Piglet (PinPics #1879), Mickey's Star Spangled Pin Event Pluto's Son Junior (PinPics #12955).

This trip marked the first time Trina really started to trade and when we got home, she reminded me that I promised to buy her a pin and then didn't. She is looking for a Monsters Inc. Boo in Costume (PinPics #8071). I have been home less than 3 days and I am already in the dog house. How exactly does that happen?

This will give me something to do during the long cold winter nights in Arizona while I am sitting by the pool remembering all the fun Trina and I had with our friends at Walt Disney World.

Jeff,
do you believe that some people refused to take the original Mickey in A SPEEDO stamp and requested Mickey in his red shorts instead. Good thing I brought some of each for the old fashioned stick in the mud people who refuse to accept change.
I gave one of those stickers to Mickey at dinner in the Land and he was embarrassed. He couldn't believe I brought a camera to our secret little watering hole. lol

I have to thank MadStrwbery for helping me get my Grail. I also did the happy dance at Robyn's party.
Thank you Barbara for the Epcot Mickey Stamp. I really had a hard time finding that one, and Barbara made it so much easier. Thanks again for the trade Barbara, and everyone else I traded with this weekend. I have some great new pins. Peggie

.....I would have enough time to find at least one of my current holy grails! :( Well, maybe next time.

But, I did find several of my second tier grails, :) and my sons definitely found some of theirs, and even mini-guppy DH found a couple.

DS#1 got his Duckasaurus mystery pin, and the Japan Donald 2002 birthday lanyard with two pins (LE 680!), and a Donald auction pin.

DS#2 traded for two Goofy auction pins, the LE1000 Goofy from DCL, and the Goofy USA lanyard pin.

DH got the old Eeyore Autumn pin from the 2000 seasonal series, and the new Imagineering spinner.

Somewhere in there I traded for the AK Conservation Fund pin, and at least was able to purchase the missing pins for my Star Spangled Event map. :D

mostly got new trading stuff in my book, but I did get the Si and Am Auction pin to add to my collection and a few others. One of my favorite pins I got was from a new pin friend - Pat. it wasn't a Disney pin but I have been wearing it since I got it........it is my Tweety pin that says "Bad Bird" The best thing I collected this event was memories with all my "PINHEAD" friends.........old and new, and I am looking forward to next year.
Barbara
