We booked through their website for our MR cruise. DH paid 25% up front that he put on our Disney Visa Card ( and got points for it and OBC for booking through the website). Initial Down payment was in March and we had to have it paid in full by July. In July we paid the balance on our Disney Visa ( more points earned) and when you use that Disney Visa to pay for your entire cruise you get A) OBC B) earned Disney Reward Dollars and C) 6 months interest free to pay it off. It's an overall good deal IMHO. We also had the cash to pay for it, but why do that when we could use the DVC to get point that we can use to spend on our cruise This is our first cruise thru Disney so I have no other experience paying in any other way than the Disney Visa.

For that cruise, I believe the deposit would be 20% of the total cruise fare. Final payment would be due by 75 days prior to sailing.

I'd just pay it off now....or most of it...if you're committed to go and have the cash...it becomes of choice of getting it behind you now....and missing out on a few months of 0.0000000000001% interest from the bank, or knowing you're all set!
