DH and I went to the park yesterday for lunch. OMG. Is is spring break already? LOL Guess we won't be going back for awhile.

Anyway, just wanted to say don't get fried chicken at the French Market. It was so dry DH couldn't even eat it - even the dark meat!) I had my jambalaya, which was not bad, and yes, I can reconfirm that it is sauce on top of rice. Oh, and can't forget the mint julep. Anyway, we hightailed it out of there after we ate b/c there were just too many people. LOL How spoiled we are living in so cal... :teeth:

Also, didn't know that they announced Mickey on the matterhorn. There was an announcement that shortly Mickey would be climbing the matterhorn, "cheered on my goofy and minnie." We didn't stay to watch, but I always like seeing mickey up there.

Anyway, that's my short report! LOL

I was just there yesterday too! Took the monorail route in from Downtown, grabbed a Dole Whip, watched the Parade and disappeared from the park. It was quite busy.

Just on a side note, the monorail route is quite quick now, it doesn't do the complete loop by the matterhorn, through autopia, and over the submarine ride anymore. Guess they don't want people to look in on the Nemo construction. If you do want to see some construction though, you can still see it through the fencing while exiting the monorail into Tomorrowland.

It's been like that for a couple of weeks. Spring breaks started early this year in many parts of the country.

I've heard French Market's fried chicken is dry. If you want fried chicken, go with the Plaza Inn. Theirs has always been good when I've had it.

Spring Break in AZ is always the second week of March. We also have schools on modified year round and they had two weeks off (2nd & 3rd week of March). I also know there are a lot of conventions right now.

Las Vegas had no school yesturday.........mayhave been alot of 3 day weekend crowds too!
