Am in the throes of booking a 2 week trip 29th November - 13th December. My DH and DD (25) and myself. My Dd & I are avid Disney fans my DH not so much but he's happy when I'm happy lol.

I love AKL and think it will be an interesting place to stay so first question coming up Savannah room or not ?

My DH likes sailing and photography my DD and I love MK so I'm really torn for the other week.

Should it be Beach Club or Poly ?

Or as we are 3 adults is there another alternative ?

Please help I NEED to book flights soon

As far as AKL goes, definitely get a savannah room. And may I suggest requesting Zebra Trail, Arusha Savannah. That's where we stayed and it was wonderful. We were on the 3rd floor which is the same floor as the lobby, which made things very convenient. Even though you are able to view the animals at various places throughout the resort, I can't begin to tell you how incredibly amazing it was waking in the morning to see giraffes and zebras grazing in the mist beyond our balcony. I was never so glad to spend extra money for anything as much as that savannah view room!

AKL savannah view is a must IMO. CL if at all possible so you can book the Sunrise safari. We had Arusha Savannah on Zebra trail. Very nice view.

I would probably take BW/BC over the Poly due to the location. My guess is you will spend more time at Epcot than MK and it is a short walk from either of those resorts.

sounds like a wonderful trip have fun!!!!

Definitely the savannah view at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The reason I'm saying that is because you said your husband likes photography. The animals will come out when they want to come out. So if you have 24/7 viewing access from your room, your husband (who doesn't like Disney that much to begin with) might be able to get some really nice animal photos.

Personally, I'd go with the Beach Club over the Polynesian with three adults. For me, the lack of a hot tub at the Polynesian is a big bummer. Plus, strolling the World Showcase even for just one trip around is pleasing to us. But that's us. And I'm thinking about the ease of using the International Gateway entrance for things. And the Boardwalk is right across the lake for night time stuff. And miniature golf within walking distance.

Thx so much for everyones help still can't decide between Poly or BC but we do love MK

HI~ I think you know what resort is the best for you~ The Poly~ It is easy access to MK and is a great location. I was there in November and loved it. The BC is great for the pool and is easy access to Epcot and MGM (Hollywood). If you think you may want to pop into MK often choose the Poly you will not be upset with your decision. I am surprising my kids in August and we will be returning to the Grand Floridian..it wasn't much more...The Contemporary is great also but little kids like it...adults not so much :)
