So Cal Citipass question???

This came up in another thread, so I'm starting a new thread to get an answer. Someone mentioned that if you are using the SO CAL citi pass (the one with 3 days DL/CA, 1 day SeaWorld, 1 Day San Diego Zoo or Wildlife pare, and 1 day Universal), that you have to use the first day at DL. Is this accurate?

I haven't been able to find anything on their website that says this. I was planning on buying the pass at Costco.com to use for our trip this summer - but we are starting our trip in SanDiego.

I believe that if you buy the Citipass through Disney, you have to use the first day at DLR (either DL or DCA) but not buying it through other companies.

We bought it through Expedia, and there was nothing saying we had to use DL tickets first. We were even able to upgrade the 3-day DL tickets to AP's.

The Southern California City Pass has changed. It used to be that when you got the SCCP from Disney you received vouchers that you had to redeem at Disneyland, so you had to go there first. However, the So Cal City Passes now come with the tickets so you can use them in any order.

We thought about doing this for pur trip at the end of teh month. What $value$ for the 3day hopper did they give you. How much did you have to spend to upgrade the hoppers to APs?

If you got tickets for each attraction seperatly would it cost more? What kinda deal is the SO Cal citipass

The So Cal City Pass is a great savings. I have priced it out a few times, and it is less than if you were to get separately DLR 3-day hopper, SeaWorld, and the San Diego Zoo (or Wild Animal Park). Add to that that you also get Universal Studios at no additional cost, and it is really a bargain.
