Just looked at weather. com.....is it really going to be 90 degrees next week???? I was packing jeans and sweatshirts, but I guess I need to dig out enough shorts for 4 days (M-Th)!

I'm not going to complain about the heat (it's supposed to be rainy/snowy on Sunday when we leave) but I was dreaming about nice, cool 70 degrees!:confused3

What are your local weather people saying??? Thanks!

I know! I have been checking weather.com wunderground.com and accuweather, and they all are predicting great weather! We go Wed-Sat and it looks right now that each day will be cooler than the last... but great weather! yeah!

Yes it will be 90. We are having our first Santa Ana of the season. I would still bring the sweaters and jeans though, as the nights will cool off alot and will be chilly. Hope you all have fun.

ETA, if where you are staying has a pool, do forget your swim suit.

Weather in SoCal this time of the year is very crazy. Even though the current forecast for next week (specifically Tuesday) is 94, it could change between now and then. I would prepare for daytime temps between 70-94 and nighttime temps being as low as 50. It can get very chilly here at night. No rain in the forecast which is good news for vacationers, bad news for the dry brush during the fire season.

Hope that helps. Enjoy your trip.

I agree - it's pretty hot out there right now - just beautiful weather. Not a cloud in the sky.

It's supposed to cool down just a little bit, but the weather will more more on the warm side than not this next week. :sunny:

I'm in San Diego, and yes, our weather people are preparing us for hot weather next week. It was quite warm today, I'm right on the water and it seems near 80. I'm sure it's in the mid-high 80s inland (which is closer to DL weather).

Tomorrow am is supposed to be drizzly, then it's supposed to clear and a Santa Ana is then set to land. So it's supposed to get into the 90s. But it does get cool in the evening. So I'd be prepared with jeans and sweats to change into...

I doubt 90's, but it's possible. I'm in Oceanside, about 1 hour south of DL, and it's been perfect weather lately! I love it! Like 75-80 degrees, and it does chill down at night IMO. No offense to the weathermen, but it rained a few days ago and there was nothing about that in the forecast. Ask us again the day before you leave and we'll let you know!! :)

I'm near the Q in san diego and it was toasty when I left work this late afternoon. . . .

remember to bring layers, once the sun goes down since there are no clouds for our blanket it will cool off pretty quick.

Make sure you just pack for both types of weather. We were stupid and packed all jeans. Luckily I did bring mostly short sleeved shirts though. But it was warm enough last week for shorts for most of the week! Then the day we left it was raining! So yeah, bring clothes for both warm and cold!

We are in DL right now and it was HOT today! Weather said 79, but it was way hotter than that! Weather also said next week 90-100 in places!

It has been really warm! Last night at Halloween Treat, we didn't even bother putting on our jackets/sweaters, and we were still hot!

It's not uncommon for October to be really warm though, even at night.

We are getting there next Thurs and we are layering.....always the way in coastal regions of So CAl....

Yes it will be in the 90's this week. And there are lots of fires going on and the dust and winds are real bad. Bring your sunglasses! We got so much dirt in our eyes today even with sunglasses on. So windy today a large tree blew down at DTD!
