Hello All! Well we finally leave on Sat. and I think I have our itinerary ironed out but wanted opinion/thoughts from all of you helpful people.
Our trip consists of me, DH, DD6, and DD10.

Day 1 arrive SNA airport at 10:00. Get rental and head straight for Old Town State Park to catch the Trolley. Plan on touring USS Midway for 2-3 hours then want to spend a little while on Coronado before finishing up the trolley tour and heading to our LaJolla hotel.
Day 2 San Diego Zoo. Plan to leave Zoo for a couple of hours middday to go to Imperial Beach to check out the Sandcastle Competition. Maybe eat at the Corvette Diner.
Day3 Sea World.
Day 4 2 hour Kayak tour of the LaJolla cave/cove/children's pool area then drive up to Cabrillo National Monument to see the lighthouse/tidepools. Drive to Anaheim. Check into hotel and have dinner at Goofy's Kitchen at 7:10PM.
Day 5 Disneyland.
Day 6 Disneyland.
Day 7 (Friday) California Adventure.
Day 8 Change hotels to Universal Sheraton and drive to Universal Studios for the day. Tickets for the 8:00 show of Wicked tonight at the Pantages Theatre.
Day 9 See Hollywood walk of fame, Graumen's Theater, Disney Soda Fountain, maybe Farmer's Market or the Tar Pits. Drive by/thru Santa Monica to see the peir and maybe Venice beach on our way -round-about-way- to SNA airport -rental due back at 1:30 for 3:30 flight back home.

Does this all look okay? Does it look like too much? Trying to get it all in. Thanks for any advice!

Wow.. you are doing a LOT on your last day. I think you are cutting it a bit too close on doing all those things. You may want to cut out the Santa Monica Pier stuff and only focus on Hollywood. Considering that you have to return the rental car by 1:30, I would probably leave Hollywood around 11 (no later than 11:30) to give yourself plenty enough time if you were to encounter traffic.

Regarding Day 5, 6 & 7:

- DL at ropedrop (or MM opening).
- 2-4 hours of touring & collecting FPs.
- Hop to DCA for 2-4 hours. (ride Griz Rapids last)
- Exit via GCH into DTD & on to the DLH.
- Return to DL (or possibly enter DCA again for a couple of hours first) in the evening with 4-5 FPs in your pocket.

Repeat on Day 6 & Day 7. See this link:

Have fun at Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

:)

You are cutting it pretty close on the last day, and I would, too, stick to Hollywood. Also, I don't know what dates you're going, but you might want to catch a Padres game while you're in San Diego. PETCO Park is beautiful and if you like baseball, games are always a blast.

Just make sure you leave Universal early enough to get back to the hotel to shower and catch a nap. Wicked is a great show and you don't want to be too tired to enjoy it. Have a great trip:)
