This burns me that the credit card co. won't talk to you. You do realize even though you are not an authorize user of the card if something happened to your husband, since you are married to the authorized user, that same company would come after you for payment of the bill. I hope you get this straightened out. Kathy

You should have a power of attorney so you can send it to any creditors you are not listed as a user with. Or the logical thing to do is have him place you as an auth user. With identity theft and fraud so rampant, cc companies really do not know who it is they are speaking to. The security is there for good reasons. If you apply for a new card please be aware you may not have access to the card for sometimes up to 2 weeks until you have it in your hand. An alternate suggestion is to wait til you are approved and have then rush you a card instead of waiting for the card to come by regular mail.
Also the expiration date and cvv2 code onthe back of the card shouldn't be avail on the web.
The reason you may be having problem also is the cc company may have a security hold on your acct due to many attempts to get the authorization.This may take your DH to call and straighten it out.
If they have logged in your previous calls someone pretending to be your DH may not work unless they are very clear on the info. Many times they will ask as security ? banking info from payments etc.
