I understood that it wouldn't be much compared to Bill (which yielded a wet day, but you know, nothing to panic about...). It rained here in Halifax and rained! The wind woke us last night, and I took dd into our bed (her room is on the back of the house and there are trees behind...), but still, we had a fairly restless night. I put my stand hammock back out after Bill, and expected that it turned into a sail overnight. Didn't, but the shredded leaf debris everywhere was really something.

How was it elsewhere? I thought it was going to be worse in NB, but I wasn't paying that much attention, as I expected it to be minor...

And, send me some "NO HURRICANE" vibes for the next three weeks or so, 'kay? We leave Hfx on Sept 18th! :cool1:

We are on the southern shore of Cape Breton and we had tons of rain and wind...worse than Bill for sure. I brought the kids into bed with us in order to sleep and our creek overflowed due to the water. I was surprised it was so nasty...Bill's eye went right over us but I think Danny had more rain for sure. Here's hoping for good weather for the next few weeks!:wizard:

very windy and rainy here in cb but nothing too serious.my brother lost 4 trees off his property and lost his power .hes just outside hali. sept 17th is my departure day :)

Down here in Yarmouth we had definitely more rain and wind than Bill. Some shingles blew off our roof and our ceiling leaked a little bit, but still nothing serious.

We fly out of halifax on the 19th, so lets all keep out fingers crossed for no hurricanes.
