So angry with myself- blew 10,000 my points!

I am so angry with myself. I had used 10,000 my points to order shell gas cards a few weeks ago. The points were deducted from my account. I have been wondering where the cards are, so I went into my account to see what's going on. I realized I had never entered my home address for them to send me the cards. So I wonder what ever happened to my cards. They could not obviously have mailed them since I have no address on file. And amazingly they never emailed me that there was a problem, but they sure enough took my points away.

So now I am out my points and get nothing in return. I know it's my own fault, but still feel badly about it. I think I will withdraw from my points, as I don't have any points left to order anything.

I emailed customer service, but I doubt that will accomplish anything.

I remember having to confirm my address before completing check out.

Actually I have found mypoints to be very accomodating and helpful.

I accidentally ordered a $50 gc when I wanted a $25 gc. I emailed customer service right away and they promptly retuned the points to me so I could get what I wanted, no questions asked.

Hopefully things will work out in your favor.

mypoints is a site where you can earn points toward gift cards by making online purchases, or taking surveys, etc

I've cashed out and never received my gift card. I reported it stolen and it was replaced in a few weeks. I think mypoints will try to work with you on this. Good luck!

Magikitty- how did you contact mypoints? there is no phone number, and I emailed but have not heard back.

I just got one and clicked to redeem for gift card - I went ahead and chose Shell cards...the next page that comes up is a page to provide your shipping address and then click to redeem. For the heck of it I took out my information and clicked on redeem and it says there is an error and I have to provide my name and address before I can complete the redemption.

So it seems odd you were able to truly complete the redemption. Seriously check with mypoints.

Mypoints is great to work with. I have turned in points for lots of GC. One time, it was lost in the mail, and I emailed them. They reissued within the week. It does take them a day or so to respond, so just be patient. They are great!

Keep us informed on what they tell you.

Wow, this is weird...my dd just told me that her gift card from My Points hasn't shown up in the mail. We checked her acct. and there wasn't any address listed for her. She swears that she entered it when opening her acct. and she had no problem ordering the gift card. Hope this gets worked out for the both of you,.

I ordered a CVS gift card from mypoints and didn't have my home address on file, but I did have to enter one for sending the gift card.

Don't give up, it took 5 weeks for my gift card to arrive, I just received it.

That doesn't apply to everyone for some reason. I have ordered 4+ giftcards through mypoints and I have never seen my status change to "Fulfilled". In fact I just checked my account and the last gc I received(2 weeks ago) still says "Redeem". Just an FYI.
