Snow's on the Way!!!

The warnings have started here in extreme northern Indiana - 6-8 inches starting tomorrow night and into Friday.

Sounds like a good night to curl up under my afghan, turn on my Christmas tree and watch PIRATES - just one more time.

...hmmm, snow and cold and wind in Indiana...and visions of Captain Jack Sparrow and the Caribbean. Life is good!!!

We are in for that crap too. I am so not ready for old man winter to come visit! We had enough last week to last me through the winter!! We got snowed on Monday and Friday last week ~ ~ it drives me crazy how many people "forget" how to drive in the winter. Time for this momma bear to go into hibernation!!

Sorry guys!! I like the snow...at least for the forst snow storm. It looks like we couldhave ourselves a little DIS meet as I think we all live within an hour or so of eachother!!! Maybe after the snow is gone?????

I'm going to ignore those snowy forcasts - just don't want to see it yet and besides our Pirates movie hasn't arrived yet from TDS!!!
Our holiday parade is Sunday (DD hs band always marches) and the last 4-5 years it's been balmy. Maybe it'll feel a little more like Christmas this year.

This post is mostly from us Indy people. I for one is hoping to dodge here. When I go to work I have two steep hills and i have a old car with bad brakes. I am actually scared to drive in the snow. I lived in IL last year and we dodged alot of storms.

I think that is a WONDERFUL idea Liz!! A little DIS meet would be lots of fun!!

I'm not that far from O'Hare airport, and it's drizzleing now
I like the snow but hate to drive in it. Bad thing for me as I drive a school bus.
One weather person says 1-3 inches and another says 3-6 inches who do you beleive??
They have no idea how much.
The first snow fall is always pretty ( as long as I am at home watching it)

It's starting to snow here now and Pirates arrived in the mail today! Just need to get through DD band concert tonite and then it can snow us in (could use another day off of work)!!!!

Oh I wish just once we would get some of the lake effect. Toledo is in a weird spot where the extreme western part of Northern Ohio might get hammered, and Cleveland gets the lake effect, but we will be lucky to get 2" tomorrow. I was hoping for at least a 2 hour delay! Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky.
