LOL, we're fine up here in Big D. :)

...well maybe I should check outside just in case. ;)

Yup, there's a dusting of the white stuff all over our yard. We haven't seen snow in Round Rock for a 3 or 4 years. Molly, our Basset Hound, has never seen it before and was none too pleased when we put her out in the back yard this morning. She was scratching at the door to come back in in record time.

I think its kind of nice. Round Rock looks good covered in snow. Sadly, it will all be gone by noon.

LOL Buz. It was too hot there last summer now it's snowing? We have 6 inches here :(

I was just out cleaning 13 inches off of my car......you'll get NO sympathy from me!

No snow here, but BRRRRRR....it's cold....:D

Bundle up, y'all!

Snowing in Texas?

Send it on up to Mn!

herc.

It has snowed here in Houston before but not often and not very much when it does. I remember once in the early 90's it snowed and everyone was going outside and just standing there watching it because it happens so rarely.
Please send some of it down, the boys would love to see it.

JTB: Has it ever snowed in Houston?

As Deena said, yes, just a tiny bit. I think - let me see - DH and I were just together - 1989 and once when I was in high school - I think 1985. But NOTHING like the pics from Mass/Maine!

We did have a nasty ice storm one year that kept us in for three days! If I ever find the pics I can show you. :)

We were living in Houston in 89. We had moved from MA in 88. DS16 was a really little guy, he kept insisting it would snow for Christmas. I kept saying "it doesn't snow here". A few days before Christmas we got about 1/2 inch. He told me "I told you!" LOL!

A couple of yrs. later Houston had snowflakes. They let the kids out of class so they could go out to the playgroud and see it.

Btw, snows gone in Round Rock. It's turned to rain.

It snowed about 2 - 3 inches in Houston sometime around '73. I even posted the pictures on the CB once.

Jeff, it did snow here this morning while I was driving Chelsea to dance. It lasted from 6:45 until 6:50. :teeth:

It also snowed really good in Houston in 1960 or 61. I still have pictures of that one. It was enough to make a snowman.
I was in high school when it snowed in '73.
Instead of going to class a bunch of us were out front having a snow ball fight. The principal came out and said, "go to class or go home". Of course we went home.

I know it snowed in Houston in 1972. We all got a couple of days off from work because of it too

I want no snow in Houston while I'm there. It can't snow until after 2/16, thank you :)

HeHe He He

I thought we had had enough up here so i sent you some...:D :D :D :D
