Snow'd in here in Calgary

I hate this stupid snow! We live on a hill and when we went out in this misery last night we had to take 2 attempts to get up the hill to get home!

I am so dreaming of the florida weather and wish we were there right now! it's gonna be a cold one this week here.

Anyone else sharing my misery?

We don't have the snow up here in Devon but we have the cold. It's -30 but feels like -41. So I am so jealous of you drag 'n fly. We are heading to DL the beginning of February so counting the days.

I live in Airdrie and for some reason we get so much more wind than Calgary?? Anyways I have not left my house since Thursday! I am in denial

Ah Calgary I lived there for a year in 06-07 so I got to experience the wonderful (aka FREEZING your Bum off) winters. I am living in Southern Ontario now and we've pretty much had constant snow since mid November. It's terribly depressing. Makes me look forward to August even more!

I live in Airdrie and for some reason we get so much more wind than Calgary?? Anyways I have not left my house since Thursday! I am in denial

Hey we're in Airdrie too. Unfortunately I had to make 2 trips into Calgary yesterday (one was just to the airport) The highways were good. The other roads were surprisingly not too bad. They were definitely better in the morning though on the first trip before everyone had been sliding on them all day.

Have to go out again today, but only to the grocery store. Looking forward to the big warm up on Tuesday, when it will be ONLY -7C. Then back in the deep freeze for the foreseeable future.

Yeah I need grocery's too but I refuse to take three kids out in this weather I am going to make my husband go after he's finished work. Thank goodness they are open until 11pm I guess it will be bread and juice all day today

Yeah we hunkered down here too and made tons of cookies and treats for christmas....now I need to grocery shop cause there will be nothing but sweets to eat all week if I don't go tomorrow lol!

+10C in Moncton today and another mild day scheduled for tomorrow . the rest of the week looks like -10C might be the coldest we get

I got up and got ready for work today...drove into Calgary (made it to Country Hills Blvd) and the traffic was horrible...I turned around and came home. I only work part-time I am not going to sit in traffic for 3 hours to only work 3 hours I was looking forward to some adult interaction...I guess that's not happening today

Yes the traffic on Mcnight was insane too. it took me 45 mins to get from barlow to the deerfoot turnoff! then another 20 to get home from there....insane!

so it won't be -7 tomorrow instead we're looking at -18...well it's better than -40 with the windchill. Dd's bus didn't show up today (thankfully I wait with her) and she said her other classmates were 2 hours late for school. I'm thankful I have an awsome caregiver who will drive her to school on days like this if necessary!
