Snowboarding/Winter Gear

Hi All! I'm new here to the budget board.

My husband is planning a snowboarding weekend away and we've been looking for some winter pants/snowboarding gear. Any ideas on where I can get some clothes for him at cheap prices?

I've been looking online and everything seems so expensive if you want quality snow gear.

The key to snowboarding or winter is staying dry. Therefore you need to buy quality clothing and gear if you want to stay warm and dry. Hence the cost.

The house has some clothing, try Steep and Cheap.

Look at ebay or craigslist.

Sierra Trading Post sells this type of stuff at discounted prices - a lot of it can still be pretty expensive, but less than what you'd pay at most stores. They've been running an extra 35 - 40% lately, too, so that helps. And they have free shipping with orders of $100 right now. I get a lot of items for my kids through them - winter boots, Smartwool socks, etc.

As a broke snowboarder, I can totally understand. My go to places are the sales and outlets of all the known places. Most places have outlets for last seasons gear, you will have to do some digging but it's worth it.

Campmor.com usually is pretty good price wise.

Also this doesn't help for this year. But many ski/snowboard stores have sales of last seasons clothes/gear in august to clear out for the new season.

Thanks so much everyone. I was actually able to get snowboarding pants from Land's End for $27!!! I couldn't believe it. They were on sale plus they had the 40% off and free shipping. I was able to get gloves and thermals also.
