We have tickets for MVMCP for the night of Tuesday, Dec. 3rd and we're seriously considering foregoing the first parade for other activities and watching the second parade from Liberty Square. But I have a question: if we do that, won't we miss the snow on Main Street? Is it impressive? Is that the only place it falls? This is our first trip for the holiday, so we're clueless. :confused3

We did MVMCP on Nov. 30th last year and also watched the 2nd parade from around Liberty Square area. Don't worry about not seeing the snow. We stayed until closing and they make it snow on Main Street as you are leaving the park. It snowed the whole time we were walking to the exit. Enjoy, and by the way, the "snow" is actually very tiny bubbles, like soap suds.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We DO plan to stay to the very end, and what a treat that will be as we finally call it a night, something to look forward to!

And not information I had read anywhere else! :cheer2:

Will you be going to see the Osborne Lights at the Studios during your visit? It frequently snows there, too!

I suggest that if you plan on filming the parade you do it on Mainstreet because the lighting is so much better. We watched the first parade from Libert Square across from LTT. All of our pictures were really dark. We saw a bit of the 2nd parade on Mainstreet and took a couple of much better pictures.

Oh the snow on Mainstreet....MAGICAL!!!! I felt like I was windowshopping with the holiday music and the shops all decorated. A truly wonderful feeling. Hope to do it again in 2006.

Yep, if you are filming, Main Street will be much better. I got alot of dark pictures from Liberty Square too.

The only thing is, if you plan on watching from Main Street, plan on going to get a seat EARLY. When we went, we could not have sat on Main Street if we wanted to! It was PACKED!

We found great seats though just over the bridge from the front of the castle into Liberty Square. When you go over the bridge, immediately to the right is a food stand that sells funnel cakes with a little seating area. We sat right in front of the funnel cake place, it was a great viewing spot for the parade.

Yes, I'm sorry, we're coming in on Saturday, Dec 3rd, but we're attending the party on Tuesday, Dec 6th, and, no, we won't be filming it; we're barely into still photos. I'm glad it sounds like we'll catch the "snow" on Mainstreet on the way out.

Yes, we will see the Osbourne lights and I had no idea there was "snow" there too. Thank you!

Thanks all, this has been a very informative threat. :disrocks: :disrocks: :disrocks:
