Here in normally lovely Southeast Michigan, we are expecting 3-8" of snow. :cold: On April 24th. I already put the shovel away. My Summer flowers are coming along nicely. Just. Can't. Be.

Now, I am one of those strange Michiganders that actually enjoys Winter. In Winter. Not on April 24th. This has got to be some sort of a cruel, sick joke.

Thanks for letting me vent. I feel (somewhat) better.

Bwahahahaha!

Sorry - lived all my life in Macomb County (Warren, Sterling Hts, Clinton Twp), but moved to Phoenix, AZ last year. Snow? What's that? We were out at the pool today!

hahahahaha.

;)

:cold: Over here freezin' my patookus off in the midOhio valley, I feel your pain (and join you in a westwardly frozen lemon toss at Dr Tomorrow...) :duck:

THey (the weather gurus) are predicting 2-4" of the white stuff for us. I hope they are wrong -- my tulips have been to heck and back this year already. THey are so confused, I fear they will just crawl back into the earth and never show their faces again. I saw groundhogs headin' back donw in their holes today -- they looked at me as if to say, "Don't blame us, lady! We said 6 weeks -- not months!" They probably grabbed a tulip or two to eat along the way, the little varmints ...

IT'S ALMOST MAY. Brrrrr. Gotta go grab a sweater out of my winter storage bin!

Ya know, with all the technology the weather forecasters have, you would think they could get it right. I am just west of Detroit and yesterday some were saying we could have upwards of 5 inches during the night and into today. There is NOTHING on the grass but a dusting. Sure, it is still snowing, but none of it is sticking!

I bought stuff last week to powerwash the deck and seal it this weekend. I have visions yesterday of not being able to FIND my deck today.

I am about to send out a posse for a certain groundhog!

Still snowin' here in South Lyon, Michigan. :cold: Looks like Christmas. The wind is what is bugging me :charac2: Boo hoo!

We had flurries yesterday and the current temp is 33 degrees out!

And I know why!!

Monday I ran the last of the gas outta our snow blower and Weds. we opened the pool.

Sorry for all the trouble I caused......

LOL!!!

Yeah, we have about 2inches right here. Mid michigan...
what is up with this weather... we had 70s-80s last week and then snow... sigh...

I just can't understand this crazy weather. We had 15 inches of snow Thursday through Friday. Yesterday and today, the temperature are in the high fifties. We struggled through snowdrifts, and now we're jumping mudpuddles!

We had snow (ok flurries) just north of here in the GA Mountains overnight!

Atlanta woke up to 35 degree temps and 27 degree windchills! Brrrrrrrrrrrr...thought I was done with turtlenecks til the fall. Record lows after seeing the mid 80s last week.

I need a Disney trip! (Only a few short weeks)

Western PA got snow (I keep track of the Erie area because my son's going to college there next Fall). They were due to get 3-5 inches today. My friend lives in Columbus, OH and she told me it's cold and they got a dusting of snow. Here in the Philly area, we're below average temps (about 52-55) but at least no snow. Our springs seem to take forever to really warm up and often they don't at all, and then you wake up one morning and it's summer and 85 ! One of these days I'm movin' outta this state...............

.... looking at my yard right now I think I'd welcome a few inches of snow to cover it up. It doesn't appear our dandylions give a rats butt about how hectic our lives have been the last several weeks. I hate yard work. The one drawback to the "empty nest" life is that my lawncare engineers are gone.

Yeah... right now I'd welcome a good 'noreaster.

Woke up to 38 degrees here in Big D this morning with high only suppose to be 65--sounds great compared to your snow-I know but that is very chilly for us at this time of year! I am sure glad I don't live up there anymore (use to live in Chicago) I sure don't miss the cold! I am ready to go to Florida on June 1st and fry to death! :cool1:

And we've been so sick of shoveling, snow blowin' and salting for the past 6 months ! LOL I look forward to planting flowers and all. I'm tired of everything being brown and grey. :flower:
I guess the grass is always greener..............
