Snow-Wigd and the Christmas Elves, a December pre-trip!

Soonergirl, What day do you get in? That's our first day, our flight leaves at 6:30 so we will be up at 4am too. I'm sure we'll be tired, but it's so exciting to be there so we will be running on adrenaline. Studios closes at 8 so I was hoping we could meet early, around 6 or so. I want to go to MK afterward if we have any energy left at all. This is going to be a week of little sleep for us I'm afraid.

We get in on the 19th too. Our dinner ADR is @ 6:05, by the time we finished eating and got over to DHS, we'd be too late I'm sure. Maybe our paths will cross later in the week. We are going to try and do EMHs at MK on Sunday night, are you guys going?

Did I read right that you may be going back on May 1st? If so, that is just too funny, because I will be there May 1st-8th with my mom for the F&G Festival!

Right now my plan is to head over to MK after we see Osbourne Lights, that is unless we are just too tired. We have a tradition of seeing Wishes on our first night so I imagine we will be there. We can exchange cell numbers and meet up there if it all works out!

I'm looking to go to Atlanta on May 1st. A group from the DIS are seeing Mary Poppins. We'll be back at Disney on May 30th.

We get in around 1:10.

We found our last Minnie Christmas Stocking today! Now they need to be delivered to my friend so the names can be embroidered on!

We're actually flying out of Dallas. We get much better times and rates that way. We'll just drive down Friday after the kids get out of school and then catch our 6:30 flight Saturday morning, we land at MCO @ around 9:45

I'm a little confused here - are you doing the Osbourne Lights on the 19th or 20th? The 19th is Saturday, but from your response of going over to MK for EMHs after seeing the lights, it sounds like your talking about Sunday. If you guys are meeting on Sunday we could probably make it.

A short update on the happenings around here!

I'll start out with WICKED!

I dressed for the occasion.....

We made out way to the theater, it was a beautiful day today. Yesterday mid 80's and today 80 degrees. We parked very close and walked less than a couple of minutes to the door. We had great seats. Front row of the balcony in the middle. I would rather be farther back and not take the chance of a tall headed person sitting in front of me....
So armed with binoculars we were set.

I attempted these pictures before the curtain rose.

Then the lights dimmed and we were told no recording devices of any kind and no photography.....
So I put Ashton away.
The show was amazing, the set and costumes were incredible. Then they started singing. WOW. Unbelievable. Effortless. We loved it!

The show didn't seem like 3 hours at all. Before we knew it, it was over.
We excited the theater and I took a quick shot of one of the cast out taking a collection for AIDS/HIV research.

Now going back in time....
This week my 2nd graders made turkeys, they turned out really cute so gobble, gobble!

Here are a couple of the up close and personal.

Then back a few more days to Halloween, here's our little pumpkin, Harper.

and her mom and dad, Megan and Matt.

We were trick or treating Great Grandma (my mom) at her assisted living home.Harper had a great time playing with the paper sack the residents had given her. The candy wasn't of much interest but she loved rattling that bag.

We've done more shopping!

I really loved these clings, we won't have a window to put them on so I guess we can decorate the fridge.

Our Minnie and Mickey Christmas stockings that will soon have our names neatly stitched upon them..

I also picked up a tiny table top tree and some cute mini ornaments...

I've really been up in the air about how to pack for the trip. Today I decided to get some fleece track pants and matching jackets. I'll be watching the 10 day forecast but I'm sure we will need something warm at night, even if it's nice during the day. Then there is the possibility that we will need winter coats as well. Time will tell!
