My DBF really wants to go on the Snow White ride, but there's a problem. Whilst I love Disney Villians (I'm not a pink-princessey kinda girl!!) I am TERRIFRIED of the Wicked Queen when she is the Hag (My Mum took me to the cinema to see Snow White when I was little and she had to take me outside every time she came on the screen 'cos she terrified me!). My question is this- How largely does she feature in the ride? I could probably cope with a seeing her a bit. Don't worry about spoiling the ride for me- It's better than heart failure!!

From what i can remember the queen appears quite alot in this ride looking old and hagged lol.
Some little ones can find this ride scary...not sure ive heard of it scaring adults before though ;)

Maybe your DBF can go on it first and let you know if he thinks you will be ok on it?

Ooof!! If she features a lot when she's haggard I would probably cry! Suppose I could just sit with my eyes shut!

Hi she is in the ride a lot. I felt this ride was very scary for a childrens ride and concentrated more on the witch than snow white and the 7 dwarfs. So in your case would probaby avoid it if i was you.

My DD 6 and D niece 7 hated this ride, as its nearly all the evil stepmother as the hag. We won't be going back on it in a hurry  .

I went to see snow white when I was little as well and ive been R&R coaster ,space mountain and im looking forward to the Tower of Terror but I shut my eyes on this ride she is still soooooooo scary:scared1:

If i try to think back to that ride i can just see the old hag holding a apple with a pyscotic (sp) look on her face, so actually maybe you should avoid this ride.

I went on this ride on our first visit and was 6m pregnant. I didn't find it too scary but if you're worried about it then just don't go...

The first and last time I went on this ride I was 8 years old and it scared both me and my little sister to tears. My father was NOT happy with the warning sign at the entrance stating that under fours may find it distressing, as the Queen figures are very grotesque. I'm just happy that the ride is closed throughout my 5 day uni break extravaganza!

*******SPOILER ALERT*******

The first scenes are very happy with Snow White singing with the Dwarfs and the animals doing the housework etc. Next we see the Queen from behind. She is looking in the mirror and we can see she looks evil but beautiful. However she turns towards us suddenly and we can see she is the hag. We see her 3 times more - twice as a hologram offering us a "shiny pomme" and then once more at the end when she is trying to topple a huge boulder on top of us. We hear her scream and then all is happy and Snow White is alive and with her Prince.

The part I thought little ones may find scary was the way the trees in the forest scene bend down towards us as we pass.

My daughter was 6 when she first rode this and she was fine with it.

It is a scary ride. There are a few links on you tube like the following if you want to check it out beforehand

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDMyJaRyodM

I got DBF to check that out on my behalf. He jumped backwards (and swore!) when the hag appeared. He just looked at me and went: 'NO!' He doesn't even want to go on it anymore 'cos he says it looks too scary!

Thank you all for saving me from embarassment (and unconsciousness!)

I do agree about the trees moving and the noise... I think it's very well made but I know my DD1 won't like it. She was very upset when I went on the ride because she thought the Wicked Queen would take me
