Snow White grants a little girl's wish!

That was wonderful. What a special moment.

Though, why did the news people have to talk about her shift being over and workng overtime. It's Snow White! She's always Snow White!! :p

Well, even Snow White can't be at the parks 24/7! She works shifts with the other princesses, obviously.

And after work, she goes back to her castle to hang with her prince. :thumbsup2

What a lucky gal!

not trying to throw shade on the pixie dust but I can not understand why people have to be such attention grabbers...coming from a military family I find it silly that people go out of their way to trade on the fact that their spouse chose to serve ....this generation seems to use that as a golden ticket for freebies and media attention......JMHO

Also from a military family. I love these kind of stories. Not much can make me tear up, but seeing families reunited like this does it every time. Parents showing up at a school assembly to surprise the child, etc. Love it.

That was precious.

I wonder if Snow White could help with a BOG ADR?

Who's being an "attention grabber"?

The family was planning to meet up at Disney. They arranged a special event with Disney Planners, just as other people arrange special events around Weddings and Birthdays and all sorts of other things. Disney went a little above and beyond, just as they have for marriage proposals and other things. You haven't been on here long, if you haven't heard of a ton of stories like that.

Then the mum filmed the whole thing with her camera, and posted it online for family and friends. Other people thought it was cute, and my local news media decided to make a piece about it. They like to share stories that will make people smile, in between all the death and gloom. This morning, we got a baby with funny hair in a swing instead. (Those babies - SUCH darn attention grabbers, always trading on their youth for media attention!)

(P.S. For the record, my grandfather was a career American army officer, mother's an American army brat, and I served for many years in the Canadian military reserve. :p)

What an amazing memory that little girl will have and that how I think of Disney. A wonderful to make family memories.
Just because someone chose to serve their country doesn't mean we shouldn't honor them and welcome them home. I'm glad this little girl got her wish.

What a great story and I have to agree that if my attention is going to be "grabbed" by the media, I prefer it to be about a sweet story such as this over the violent crap that seems to headline the news daily....

Thank you for sharing :)
