Snow in October!

They are predicting 1-3 inches Saturday night for north Jersey!!!! I'm not liking the idea of this winter so far.

I was SUPPOSED to be having a backyard Halloween themed pony/petting zoo b-day party for my twins tomorrow. Needless to say that's been canceled and we're taking the party to a movie theater instead! popcorn::

in parts of pennsylvania an northern new jersey theyare calling for 15-20 inches of snow. :scared1:
http://www.weather.com/weather/today/USNJ0510 (Sussex, nj weather forecast)

in our area they are only calling for 3-5 inches, but right to the northwest of us (only like 15-20 min away by car) they are expecting 10 inches.

Great in ma they are saying now 10-15 inches! With heavy winds with the chance for wide spread power outages!:scared1::scared1: not happy need to get kids snow boots and try on winter coats! Ugh not ready not at all:scared1:

Thankfully, no snow here! We had our harvest party in Preschool today. (ok, it never snows here, but it rains.) It was 78 and we had games, food, and farm animals outside in the playground. Perfect day! Nights have been cold into the 40's though. Last year it rained and we had to bring the farm animals inside.

I hope it's a little warmer on Monday for Hallowe'en...I always feel bad for the kids when their excitement is dampened by having to wear a winter coat over their costume.
You mean you don't make their costumes big enough to fit over the winter coats??? ... how un-Canadian of you :rolleyes1

We're supposed to get to the balmy high of 7°C here on Monday ... I think ... at least no snow forecast :worship:
