Anyone know what the predictions are for snowfall this season. I'm hoping it's going to be better than last year, but I haven't heard anyone talking about it.

Not sure but I hope that our winter is more like yours was last year. We were seriously in the snowless belt. 30 mins in any direction of us would see TONS of snow, while we picked up an inch. It was disgusting

DH had to spend the winter away due to business and only came home on the weekends. I swore that every time he left the snow started falling and I had to shovel, snow blow ,etc. One storm was so bad that the mailbox got covered and stayed this way till DH came home from business trip. This year I hope we get lots and lots of snow as DH is home and he has a new plow that we are paying for so I hope he gets use out of it as long as I’m not shoveling again!

I have heard both that we should be getting tons of snow this winter and that it is supposed to be warmer than usual all winter. I think it is a wait and see thing but I prefer the warmth over the snow. However I think we got an inch already one day in October followed by 70 degrees the next day so who knows. I'm 5 miles north of Boston.

My nephew who plows, said the Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for lots of snow.

I have not read anything myself. But, let's look at Hurricanes. Would the current Hurricane season have an effect on winter in the Northeast? Last year, there were an above average amount of Hurricanes, and we got an above average amount of snow. This year, there wer even MORE Hurricanes than last...so I wonder........ :teeth:

I know in our area they are predicting warmer then last year with the same or less snowfall. We had 9" of snow last year total, so I don't see how much less we can get :rotfl: . If we get the snow they are predicting to come tomorrow then we will match last years total in one snowfall.

none... :rolleyes1 nope none of this :cold: yup thats what i heard.. not one inch.. can you believe it. gosh. nope none :confused3

Hehehehe Well one can hope right! :wave2:
