Snow Days??

Have not had one yet this year. Crazy, I think once at least IMHO it was called for.

We have 3 days set aside for them, and by May they start adding them in.

I think we had two days a few years back, and my son is almost 15, that was the first time we had EVER had a snow day, so to have 2 in one year was a miracle.

Why cancel the buses? Aren't the kids safer in the the bus as opposed to walking in the roadway because the sidewalks are not plowed?

The buses can go slow and the school day can begin a little later.

That's an interesting though. Around here the buses are for kids that live outside of a set distance and/or have to cross a major street to get to school. So with that in mind the vast majority of kids on the bus couldn't walk to school anyway.
