Since 8 a.m. we've got loads and loads of new snow. We were to the point of seeing mostly grass with just a few small dirty piles left but not any more!

:scared1:

We were expecting 7-10 inches but we're well over 3 feet and boy is it heavy! It's still snowing quite hard too so it'll be interesting to see how much is there in the morning. I'm trying not to cry. :p

the mere thought of 3 feet of snow makes me want to cry. Im sending my apologies and warm thoughts your way!

I had just said to DH yesterday how nice it was that the snow had melted so slowly and didn't leave us or our neighbors flooded.......but this snow will probably leave our basements wet and soggy, if not worse.

I'm hearing that we'll have warm temps all week so it'll go fast and that's the scary part. I can't seem to remember the snowfall " compared to how much that would have been in rainfall. :confused3
In any case it's a lot of wet! LOL

It sounds like allllllllllllllll the schools in northern Minnesota will be closed tomorrow. Lucky kids!!!

Sorry about the snow in April!! UGG!! I lived in Maine for several years and we got some on 4/29!!! So we still had snow in May! MAY!!!

I'm in Hawaii now, so no worries! It's 80!

No, we're having highs in the low 60s this week. Lots of rain, though.

I'm so sorry you're getting all that snow. It just isn't fair. It can't last long, though!!!

we have'nt gone more than 48 hours without at least a sprinkling of snow in the last few weeks. today we woke up to fresh snow on the ground which melted when the rain came in which dried up when the sun came out which disappeared when the hail came down-after which we got more sun and rain:sad2: we have very schizophrenic weather right now:sick:

How entertaining!! :rotfl:

This spring has been a frustrating one... the snow has been completely melted and temps in the 50s... twice! Yesterday was blizzard conditions with 6 inches of snow and 40 MPH winds. School was called off today - first snow day all year.

No snow in the metro area--not to rub it in but we golfed on Saturday. We are only supposed to be up to 45° today though with a chance of rain.

Golfgal, yeah I've heard from my relatives down in the cities that they've been golfing too already.
This morning has been a real challenge....I had orders that HAD to go out today. Shovelled snow for 2 hours just to get out of the garage. Found people manning the post office though so got that taken care of.
Came home and had to shovel for an hour just to get back INTO the garage.

:rotfl:

I'm a heart attack waiting to happen this morning...... :scared1:

;)

We got snow last week. I really hope it's done for the season. I'm not sure I could handle any more. :(
